Il sindaco Luca Secondi ha dato mandato al segretario generale del Comune di rivolgersi alla Prefettura di Perugia per fare chiarezza sulla correttezza dell’operato della Polizia Locale nei confronti del presidente del Consiglio comunale, Luciano Bacchetta, e del capogruppo di Castello Civica, Andrea Lignani Marchesani, a seguito della denuncia per affissione abusiva di manifesti elettorali pervenuta al corpo in occasione delle ultime elezioni regionali. Prendendo atto dagli interventi in aula dei diretti interessati che l’incontro con il comandante della Polizia Locale non abbia portato a un chiarimento della vicenda, il primo cittadino ha ritenuto necessario interpellare l’Ufficio Territoriale del Governo, che ha competenza in materia, per recepire l’istanza avanzata dallo stesso Bacchetta durante le comunicazioni della seduta di ieri del Consiglio comunale. Bacchetta aveva, infatti, chiesto l’apertura di “un’indagine ufficiale” sulla legittimità del comportamento tenuto dalla Polizia Locale, che notificò al suo domicilio l’apertura di un procedimento formale susseguente alla denuncia. All’iniziativa si è associato anche il consigliere Lignani Marchesani, destinatario di analoga notifica, ribadendo le perplessità sull’accaduto.
