Lunedì 14 aprile si riunirà il Consiglio comunale: all’ordine del giorno la destinazione del Lascito Mariani

La destinazione del Lascito Mariani sarà l’argomento all’ordine del giorno della seduta del Consiglio comunale di Città di Castello che il presidente Luciano Bacchetta ha convocato per lunedì 14 aprile, alle ore 18.30, nella residenza municipale di piazza Gabriotti.

L’assemblea sarà chiamata a dibattere sull’utilizzo delle risorse economiche disponibili e a deliberare gli indirizzi dell’ente nei confronti dell’USL Umbria 1, alla quale sono stati trasferiti i 3 milioni e 700 mila euro lasciati in eredità, a seguito della firma, il 28 luglio 2020, di un protocollo tra Comune tifernate, Regione Umbria e azienda sanitaria territoriale. L’intesa ha stabilito che le risorse a disposizione dovranno essere investite per i servizi socio-sanitari a Città di Castello. La storia del lascito Mariani risale al 7 luglio del 1984, quando Clara Mariani, nel suo testamento autografo, destinò all’ospedale di Città di Castello la consistente donazione, in titoli e contanti, perché fosse investita per “opere di bene per alleviare le sofferenze e soccorrere quanti si trovano nel bisogno di cure e vivono nel dolore”. Dopo oltre 30 anni, con il pronunciamento della Corte di Cassazione le risorse del lascito vennero assegnate al Comune di Città di Castello, individuato quale erede morale e materiale di Clara Mariani.
