Nel corso della conferenza stampa in cui è stato presentato il progetto e firmato il protocollo di intesa, il sindaco di Città di Castello Luca Secondi, presente insieme all’assessore alla Cultura Michela Botteghi, e il vescovo della Diocesi tifernate mons. Luciano Paolucci Bedini hanno spiegato la genesi del progetto, a partire dalla riflessione che “L’Anno Giubilare 2025, soprattutto in Umbria, per la specificità religiosa, storica ed artistica del territorio, rappresenta una meta preferenziale dei flussi turistici, sia religiosi che generalisti: la collaborazione tra Amministrazione comunale e Diocesi trova la sua finalità nella crescita della cultura dell’accoglienza, mediante la convergenza delle modalità di gestione, l’elaborazione di un’immagine esterna coordinata, una campagna di promozione congiunta”. Da questo punto di vista “Pinacoteca civica e Museo Diocesano rappresentano due facce di un unico, ricco patrimonio culturale che racconta la storia e l’identità di un territorio. Entrambi i musei, con le loro collezioni, si intrecciano in un dialogo tra arte, storia, fede e devozione. Il progetto del biglietto unico, propone una visione unica del patrimonio culturale e del territorio come risorsa strategica, offrendo al visitatore la possibilità di immergersi in un percorso che attraversa secoli di storia e cultura condivise”. Le infrastrutture del progetto sono la biglietteria unica con due postazioni, alla Pinacoteca e al Museo diocesano, un biglietto di base di 8 euro per l’intero e 6 per il ridotto, con tutte le agevolazioni previste dal regime tariffario della Pinacoteca. Il biglietto darà diritto a visitare i quattro siti museali e sarà valido per una settimana. Naturalmente rimangono in vigore anche tutte le precedenti convenzioni e collaborazioni dei musei coinvolti. Inoltre è previsto un calendario di iniziative congiunto. “Il progetto è sperimentale, partiamo con 4 musei ma pensiamo, che, come per altre realtà in cui i beni culturali sono l’attrattore principale, l’obiettivo sia una integrazione complessiva dell’offerta museale cittadina, soprattutto nell’ottica della rete MUA. Riteniamo che, al pari di altri territori, sia importante porsi sul panorama regionale con una rappresentazione focalizzata e un’offerta riconoscibile, grazie alla peculiarità del territorio tifernate in termini artistici e architettonici. Nell’Umbria medievale, il binomio Rinascimento e Contemporaneità appare una sintesi efficace e originale dell’identità culturale e dell’offerta museale tifernate”.
