Le star internazionali Sumi Jo e Francisco Araiza saranno i docenti delle nuove masterclass dell’edizione 2025 de “Le Stanze dell’Opera” la scuola per  cantanti lirici e musicisti per un percorso di studio che unisce tradizione e innovazione. Appuntamento dal 2 al 5 maggio con l’ultimo soprano di Karajan sull’opera “Rigoletto” Sumi Jo e ancora dal 26 al 30 maggio la masterclass di canto lirico con il tenore messicano Francisco Araiza. Il ciclo di lezioni culminerà con la messa in scena del “Rigoletto” di Giuseppe Verdi, che non sarà l’unico autore o titolo su cui lavoreranno i partecipanti. L’iniziativa è possibile grazie a Fondazione Guido d’Arezzo – ente presieduto dal sindaco della città Alessandro Ghinelli e diretto da Lorenzo Cinatti a cui dal 2018 è affidata dal Comune di Arezzo la gestione delle attività e dei presidi culturali sul territorio – che, nell’ambito delle molte azioni volte allo sviluppo e alla promozione della cultura sul territorio, conferma il suo impegno per la diffusione della cultura musicale, oltre che per formare e preparare nuovi talenti al lavoro di artista (le lezioni si terranno presso la Casa della Musica di Arezzo, situata nello storico Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici in via Giorgio Vasari 6 – info www.fondazioneguidodarezzo.com/scuola-opera ).

L’offerta formativa continua dal 3 al 5 giugno, con Eleonora Pacetti che offrirà un approfondimento su come preparare audizioni e concorsi, fornendo agli allievi strumenti pratici per affrontare il mondo del lavoro. A settembre due appuntamenti imperdibili: dal 20 al 22 Maurizio Scardovi guiderà un seminario su Il lavoro del cantante lirico, affrontando temi fondamentali come la scelta del repertorio, la preparazione di un’audizione, la promozione e la gestione della carriera, mentre dal 26 al 29 settembre Sonia Ganassi terrà una masterclass dedicata alla preparazione tecnica vocale e alla costruzione di un repertorio personalizzato. Nel programma, anche il Corso propedeutico di Canto Lirico tenuto dal soprano Gaia Matteini.
