Come ha detto il nostro presidente Mattarella in occasione della giornata mondiale della salute e per la sicurezza sul lavoro. Quella delle morti bianche è una piaga che non accenna ad arrestarsi e che ha mietuto solo nello scorso anno più di 1200 vite e creato più di 4000 invalidi. Ed è così, ma occorre fare qualcosa di più anche per le famiglie che quando succede piombano nel dolore e nello sconforto. Famiglie che all’improvviso si trovano a gestire oltre che al dolore per la scomparsa di un proprio caro anche una situazione burocraticamente complessa” – prosegue Pagliai.
Il presidente di M.C.L. Arezzo sottolinea come “la nostra associazione aiuta in materia di invalidità, reversibilità, successioni pratiche fiscali e amministrative, ma sta poi alla politica mettere in campo più risorse per la formazione, per la sicurezza e per l’aiuto ai superstiti”. A tal proposito il pensiero è ai due lavoratori aretini Bagni e Bruni, morti nel 2018 all’archivio di Stato. “Per noi Filippo e Piero con la loro storia rappresentano idealmente tutti coloro che sono deceduti sul lavoro e oggi vogliamo ricordarli esprimendo cordoglio e vicinanza alle loro famiglie e ai loro colleghi e vogliamo pregare il Signore, che li ha accolti in cielo, perché ci aiuti a essere sempre vigili e a non sottovalutare mai i pericoli che incontriamo durante la vita lavorativa”.
