Dal 23 al 25 maggio a Bologna si svolgeranno le terze semifinali italiane del più importante concorso internazionale dedicato al cibo di strada. La competizione si terrà al Parco di Villa Cassarini, in concomitanza con il festival dello street food sponsorizzato da Daygum. Musica live, circo di strada e un mercatino dell’artigianato animeranno il weekend.
Dal 23 al 25 maggio 2025, Bologna ospiterà le semifinali italiane degli European Street Food Awards, il più importante concorso internazionale dedicato al cibo di strada. La gara, che coinvolgerà nove food truck, si svolgerà nel Parco di Villa Cassarini, in concomitanza con Eatinero® Food Truck Festival, evento organizzato dal portale Eatinero.it in partnership con Radio Bruno, Cassarini Summer, La Frasca e Birra di Classe e sponsorizzato da Daygum.L’European Street Food Awards è un contest organizzato, dal 2017, dal giornalista e consulente gastronomico inglese Richard Johnson e coinvolge 16 Paesi europei. Si articola in tre fasi: cinque semifinali italiane; una finale italiana; una finalissima europea. Due semifinali si sono già svolte a Codogno (Lodi) e Palazzolo sull’Oglio (Brescia) e altre due, dopo Bologna, si terranno a Padenghe sul Garda (Brescia) e Castel Mella (Brescia). La finale italiana è in programma a Cremona dal 19 al 21 settembre; quella europea a Saarbrucken, in Germania, dal 10 al 12 ottobre.L’evento di BolognaMa cosa succederà a Bologna? Saranno tre giorni di festa dedicata al cibo di strada di qualità, con show cooking, musica dal vivo e dj set, spettacoli circensi e di artisti di strada, area bimbi e area relax immersi nel verde del Parco, mercatino dell’artigianato. Le cucine saranno aperte non stop il venerdì dalle 18.00 alle 24.00 e il sabato e la domenica dalle 11.00 alle 24.00. Tutto è a ingresso gratuito. Il pubblico sarà direttamente coinvolto nel contest. Da Bologna, come da ogni semifinale, scaturiranno due finalisti: uno eletto dalla giuria tecnica e uno votato dal pubblico. La giuria tecnica si riunirà sabato all’ora di pranzo ma per tutti i tre giorni della manifestazione il pubblico potrà votare per la categoria People’s Choice. Per farlo basterà presentare uno scontrino che dimostri di aver consumato presso almeno uno dei food truck in gara e ritirare un apposito tagliando da inserire nelle urne di voto. L’offerta gastronomica Questi i nove food truck in gara: Bobson, che proporrà primi piatti a base di gnocchi e panini gourmet con pastrami e altre farciture; Cacio’s, con panini e bruschette a base di caciocavallo impiccato; Calabriotto, con hamburger ispirati alla cucina calabrese; Fornas, con menu di pollo articolato in frittini e burger; Gào, dalla Toscana, con il tipico tonno del Chianti ma anche panini a base di coniglio e roast beef; Indegno con crescentine e tortellini fritti; La Reina Pepiada con cibo etnico venezuelano (arepas, empanadas, yuca fritta, tutto gluten free!); Manicarretto con un ampio menu di fritti, tra cui fish & chips, sardoncini e polpette veg; Streeat Bacco che porterà, dalla provincia di Roma, Porchetta di Ariccia IGP, amatriciana, carbonara e tanto altro. Accanto a loro, fuori concorso, anche i beer truck di Birra di Classe, con decine di birre artigianali diverse, e Bar Stellino, con cocktail artigianali alla spina.Gli eventi collateraliIntrattenimento per tutte le età fare; da corollario all’evento.
