Cultura, musica e tradizione nel cuore della Valtiberina È stato presentato questa mattina, nel loggiato di Palazzo delle Laudi, il calendario ufficiale degli eventi estivi 2024 del Comune di Sansepolcro. Una location all’aperto, per questo incontro al quale hanno presenziato, assieme all’Amministrazione comunale, molti rappresentanti di associazioni e realtà locali presentando le proprie iniziative inserite in un calendario ricco di eventi.
Un programma ampio e articolato, che animerà la città nei prossimi mesi con appuntamenti di rilievo, pensati per offrire a cittadini e visitatori occasioni di svago, cultura e intrattenimento. «Abbiamo costruito un cartellone che valorizza il nostro patrimonio culturale e naturale – ha dichiarato l’assessore Francesca Mercati – con iniziative che parlano a pubblici diversi, capaci di raccontare l’identità del Borgo attraverso linguaggi contemporanei, spettacolo, tradizioni tramandate, spiritualità e percorsi di comunità. Sarà un’estate ricca e dinamica, frutto del lavoro congiunto tra amministrazione, associazioni, enti e realtà locali». Il programma che ha appena visto concludersi un’altra florida edizione del Food&Street, include alcuni eventi clou che confermano Sansepolcro come uno dei centri culturali più vivaci della Valtiberina:
• Festival dei Cammini di Francesco (30 maggio – 3 giugno): spiritualità, paesaggio e incontri lungo le vie francescane fra Toscana e Umbria.
• Kilowatt Festival (11–19 luglio): rassegna di arti performative contemporanee riconosciuta a livello internazionale.
• Borgo Jazz (24–28 luglio): concerti e sonorità d’autore nel cuore del centro storico.
• Terre in festival (3 – 27 agosto): teatro diffuso in Valtiberina
• Berta Music Festival (29 agosto – 1 settembre): musica live, giovani talenti e grandi ospiti in piazza Torre di Berta.
• Feste del Palio (1–14 settembre): due settimane legate alle tradizioni del Palio, tradizione tramandata dalla Società Balestrieri e il gruppo Sbandieratori di Sansepolcro.
• Concerto di Nicola Piovani il grande pianista e compositore sarà ospite della nostra splendida piazza in una delle ultime serate d’estate.
Il calendario sarà ulteriormente arricchito da appuntamenti in biblioteca e al museo, spettacoli teatrali all’aperto, eventi di vario genere, shopping day, presentazioni letterarie, visite guidate e proiezioni cinematografiche. Non solo la città sarà protagonista con eventi di vario tipo, ma anche le popolose frazioni con le loro associazioni e pro loco, sempre molto attive, sapranno animare le settimane d’estate con eventi all’insegna della tradizione. “La collaborazione è sempre alla base di un buon lavoro – ha dichiarato il sindaco Fabrizio Innocenti – e siamo felici di avere il supporto di tante diverse realtà che danno vita ad appuntamenti sempre ricchi di interesse che rendono il nostro territorio ancora più attrattivo per cittadini e visitatori.” “L’obiettivo di questa Amministrazione è, e continuerà ad essere, quello di rendere il nostro centro storico un luogo vivo, autentico, capace di rappresentare pienamente l’identità cittadina – ha inoltre aggiunto il consigliere delegato alle attività del centro storico Luca Ciavattini – Il cuore della nostra città deve pulsare di vita, cultura e partecipazione.
