Il tratto appena concluso arriva fino allo svincolo con la SP43, permettendo così la riapertura completa della SS 73 Senese Aretina, che nei mesi scorsi aveva subìto limitazioni alla circolazione per garantire la sicurezza del cantiere. Con un investimento complessivo di circa 600 mila euro – cofinanziato dalla Regione Toscana, dall’Unione dei Comuni e dai Comuni di Sansepolcro, Anghiari e Monterchi – la ciclopista è destinata a diventare un’infrastruttura di riferimento per la mobilità lenta, favorendo l’uso della bicicletta e valorizzando al contempo il paesaggio, la storia e le eccellenze locali. Ora i lavori proseguono lungo la strada provinciale in direzione di Anghiari, secondo il cronoprogramma stabilito, per estendere progressivamente il tracciato fino a Le Ville di Monterchi. Il percorso è pensato per essere accessibile, sicuro e integrato con l’ambiente, valorizzando i punti di interesse culturale e naturalistico dell’area. L’Unione dei Comuni continuerà a informare i cittadini sull’avanzamento dei lavori e sulle eventuali modifiche temporanee alla viabilità necessarie per consentire la prosecuzione dell’opera.
