AREZZO – “La Giostra del Saracino è la principale rievocazione storica e folcloristica di Arezzo, un’occasione di promozione e di visibilità ed è noto a chiunque che si corre il terzo sabato di giugno e la prima domenica di settembre.
Eppure, nonostante in Comune ci sia anche un ufficio Giostra del Saracino che dovrebbe organizzare tutto per tempo, c’è chi ha preferito non risparmiare una pessima figura alla città, parlando all’ultimo minuto di alcol-test, a una manciata di giorni dall’evento, trattando ingiustamente gli oltre 300 figuranti come un manipolo di facinorosi e di ubriachi. Non è così. I quattro quartieri sono delle ottime realtà socio-aggregative, presenti e operative tutto l’anno, catalizzano moltissimi giovani, donne e uomini che s’impegnano gratis per promuovere iniziative sociali, culturali, ludiche, ricreative e sportive. La querelle ingaggiata da Ghinelli con i quattro rettori sull’imposizione dell’etilometro, con relativa sparata a margine della presentazione della lancia d’oro, è la nuova riprova che il sindaco è rimasto solo. Isolato dai rettori che hanno fatto quadrato e che hanno assunto così un ruolo autorevole e responsabile, ispirato al buon senso e alla diligenza del buon padre di famiglia, in linea con le raccomandazioni alla moderazione provenienti dalla Questura e al rispetto delle regole cavalleresche e giostresche. Trovo molto sconveniente che una riunione ad hoc organizzata in Questura proprio per discutere dell’alcol-test richiesto a gran voce, sia stata disertata da chi ne aveva sollecitato l’applicazione a tappeto. Un’assenza che suona come: ‘se non vinco io, smetto di giocare’. L’aver disertato l’incontro da parte di ogni altro rappresentante politico del Comune ne è la riprova. Chissà se dall’Ufficio Giostra qualcuno avrà avvisato il sindaco che l’alcol-test non si poteva fare, per lo meno così come anticipato dallo stesso primo cittadino, in quanto neppure ipotizzato nei regolamenti della manifestazione e soprattutto perché non era stato organizzato, anche in merito ai costi che ne sarebbero derivati. Forse di questo alcol-test se ne sarebbe potuto parlare a gennaio del 2025, magari insieme al Ser.d., tanto per fare un esempio e mettere insieme iniziative informative ed educative interistituzionali tra Comune, Asl, Prefettura, Questura. Se dev’essere così ridateci l’Istituzione Giostra del Saracino”.
