“Dopo 23 anni, il Consiglio Comunale ha approvato all’unanimità il nuovo regolamento del servizio di trasporto scolastico del Comune di Arezzo. Ringrazio l’ufficio scuola per il puntuale lavoro e ringrazio i consiglieri comunali di maggioranza e minoranza perché grazie al loro contributo questo Regolamento é molto buono e darà risposte davvero utili al servizio, alle famiglie e in particolare ai bambini e alle bambine. Le novità più importanti sono due: il servizio, che per norma riguarda i bambini e le bambine da 6 a 14 anni, è esteso anche per la fascia 3/6 anni ritenendo fondamentale dare maggiori opportunità per le famiglie che scelgono di far frequentare ai propri figli le scuole dell’infanzia; per le famiglie che scelgono per tutto l’anno scolastico – andata o ritorno- vi è l’abbattimento del 40% mentre fino ad oggi è del 100%. Nonostante nel tempo i comuni di medie e grandi dimensioni abbiano deciso di individuare aree di sosta per specifiche fermate, noi abbiamo ritenuto di garantire il servizio a domicilio: ogni bambino ed ogni bambina sarà preso a casa e a casa riportato. Durante tutto il tragitto oltre all’autista sarà presente personale di cura e sorveglianza in ogni mezzo impiegato. Particolare riguardo sarà per i bambini e le bambine con gravi disabilità per i quali vi è un progetto di accompagnamento personalizzato non solo per le attività educative ma anche sanitarie Con questo regolamento Arezzo si conferma una città che mette al centro famiglie e bambini considerando strategico il servizio educativo, oggi Arezzo è considerata la terza città in Toscana e la quattordicesima in Italia per qualità della vita dei bambini, con questo regolamento miglioreremo ancora raggiungendo e consolidandoci nella top ten nazionale”.
