L’ultimo salto di “gommone” acrobata del cross, “re” dei meccanici tifernati. E’ scomparso all’età di 75 anni, Luigino Pieracci, “gommone” per tutti, un pezzo di storia del motocross tifernate. Fra i fondatori del Motoclub “Ennio Baglioni”, indimenticato presidente negli anni 80-90, ha contribuito assieme a tanti amici appassionati delle due ruote sul fango, allo sviluppo e poi alla gestione in proprio del circuito da cross “G.Ceccarini” in località “la Trogna”, fiore all’occhiello a livello nazionale. Quel tracciato era la sua “creatura” che tanto ha amato e che lo ha visto spesso protagonista prima con la moto e poi con il sidecar, fra i primi a cimentarsi con successo in questa spettacolare specialità a due con il co-pilota Dino Perioli: una coppia “gommone e gommino” che non passava certo inosservata per le spettacolari evoluzioni nei circuiti di tutta Italia che lasciavano tutti con il fiato sospeso. Memorabili le corse che li hanno visti protagonisti. Uno sportivo dal cuore grande, sempre con il sorriso, amico di tutti, Luigino Pieracci si è distinto anche per la professionalità in officina accanto a Vincenzo Mambrini, “gingillo” e poi con il figlio Luca che ne ha preso l’eredità. Oggi lo piangono e ricordano con affetto i numerosi appassionati di cross della città a partire dal presidente del Motoclub “Ennio Baglioni”, Stefano Fiorucci: “ci lascia “gommone” uno dei personaggi chiave del nostro panorama motoristico. Ex storico presidente anni 80/90 e co-fondatore della nostra societa’ primo sidecarista della storia tifernate. Ciao “gommone” fai buon viaggio e grazie di tutto quello che c’ hai dato”. Poliedrico personaggio, Luigino Pieracci, è stato anche per diversi anni, per hobby, stimato e competente operatore televisivo, protagonista della nascita di storiche emittenti a Città di Castello, sempre sul posto pronto a documentare fatti e notizie salienti, componente aggiunto della grande famiglia dei giornalisti tifernati che lo ricordano con affetto e si stringono in un caloroso abbraccio alla famiglia, la moglie Maria Antonietta e i figli Luca e Lucia. Cordoglio anche da parte del sindaco Luca Secondi dell’assessore allo sport, Riccardo Carletti e della giunta: “un pioniere di uno sport, il motocross che tante soddisfazioni ha dato alla nostra città.
