MONTEPULCIANO – tra piccoli sbandieratori e tamburini del Bravìo delle Botti di Montepulciano In attesa che il Bravìo delle Botti di Montepulciano entri nel vivo con la settimana degli eventi, domenica 3 Agosto in Piazza Grande si sfidano le giovani generazioni di Sbandieratori e Tamburini

Domenica 3 agosto Piazza Grande a Montepulciano tornerà ad accendersi con i colori, i suoni e l’energia delle giovani generazioni: arriva la 41ª edizione del Concorso “Paolo Gonnelli” tra piccoli sbandieratori e tamburini del Bravìo delle Botti, organizzato dalla Contrada di San Donato in occasione della Festa del Patrono. La giornata si aprirà alle ore 10:00 con la benedizione dei giovani sbandieratori e tamburini, seguita dal corteo storico che attraverserà le vie della contrada biancorossa per concludersi in Piazza Grande con la tradizionale sbandierata.

Alle ore 16:30 prenderà il via il concorso vero e proprio, che vedrà esibirsi in Piazza i gruppi junior (6-10 anni) e senior (11-14 anni) in rappresentanza delle otto contrade di Montepulciano. Un momento atteso da tutto il mondo del Bravìo, che ogni anno celebra l’impegno, la dedizione e la passione delle nuove leve della tradizione contradaiola. A conclusione della manifestazione, la Contrada di San Donato aprirà dalle ore 20:00 la propria cena presso la Fortezza di Montepulciano, sede della contrada, per condividere un momento di festa e convivialità con contradaioli, famiglie e ospiti. Il Concorso “Paolo Gonnelli” rappresenta uno degli eventi più significativi del calendario che precede la settimana del Bravìo delle Botti, e testimonia la volontà di tramandare valori, identità e spirito di appartenenza alle nuove generazioni.
