La rete Poct dell’Asl Toscana Sud Est conferma la certificazione di qualità ISO 9001:2015. I dispositivi Point-of-care testing (Poct) sono strumentazioni che consentono l’esecuzione di analisi cliniche in prossimità del sito di cura e assistenza del paziente.
Il concetto alla base è la possibilità di eseguire i test nel modo più sicuro e immediato per il paziente, in modo da poter fornire al medico e al team assistenziale i risultati nel più breve tempo possibile. Inoltre l’utilizzo di queste tecnologie permette di monitorare le situazioni più critiche già dall’intervento del sanitario del 118 sul territorio fino all’arrivo al Pronto soccorso e ai reparti ad alta intensità di cura.
Il mantenimento della certificazione ISO 9001, verificata il 3 e il 4 luglio dall’ente certificatore Kiwa, rappresenta non solo un requisito formale, ma anche un riconoscimento concreto dell’efficacia dell’organizzazione e della qualità dell’intero sistema Poct, distribuito su un vasto territorio, presente in numerose strutture ospedaliere, territoriali e 118. Fondamentale è il contributo degli infermieri: la loro costante attenzione al corretto utilizzo delle strumentazioni, al rispetto delle procedure e alla gestione della qualità analitica ha permesso di garantire standard elevati in tutti i punti di utilizzo.
Accanto a loro, la professionalità e la competenza dei tecnici di laboratorio hanno rappresentato un pilastro imprescindibile per il buon funzionamento della rete. I tecnici si sono distinti non solo per la gestione tecnica e il monitoraggio continuo delle performance analitiche, ma anche per il supporto e il coordinamento delle attività insieme ai Poct manager, offrendo un punto di riferimento qualificato e costante per tutti gli operatori.
