Il Magistrato delle Contrade di Montepulciano annuncia ufficialmente quello sarà il programma del Bravìo delle Botti 2025, l’attesissima manifestazione che unisce storia, tradizione e competizione, coinvolgendo l’intera comunità poliziana.Il calendario degli eventi prenderà il via venerdì 22 agosto con l’ormai immancabile appuntamento di Cantine in Piazza, organizzata con la collaborazione del Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, per una serata all’insegna della convivialità e che trasformerà Piazza Grande in un salotto del gusto. Da questo momento, per oltre una settimana, Montepulciano si animerà con cerimonie, cortei, eventi culturali, spettacoli e momenti di aggregazione che accompagneranno cittadini e visitatori fino a domenica 31 agosto, giorno clou della manifestazione quando le otto contrade cittadine si sfideranno nella tradizionale corsa delle botti, tra tecnica, forza e spirito di appartenenza, per conquistare il tanto ambito Panno del Bravìo.
PROGRAMMA. Il Bravìo delle Botti 2025 prende ufficialmente il via venerdì 22 agosto con “Cantine in Piazza”, l’appuntamento conviviale organizzato in collaborazione con il Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, per entrare nel vivo sabato 23 agosto con lo spettacolare Proclama del Gonfaloniere: dalle ore 21:00, il Corteo Storico partirà dalla Colonna del Marzoccoper giungere inPiazza Grande, dove avrà luogo lo spettacolo del Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini di Montepulcianoe a seguire la compagniaKronos Acrobatic Theater con la performance “Virtù Kavalleresche” (Il biglietto unico per tribune e platea è di euro 10, coningresso gratuito per i bambini sotto i 6 anni. I biglietti saranno disponibili online su Billetto e sul sito ufficiale del Bravìo a partire da lunedì 11 agosto alle ore 14:00). Durante la serata, le Contrade resteranno aperte al pubblico, offrendo momenti di festa e accoglienza.
La giornata di domenica 24 agosto sarà dedicata alla presentazione del Panno. La lunga giornata inizierà alle ore 15:30 nel Chiostro della Fortezza di Montepulcianocon la premiazione del concorso culinario “A tavola con il Nobile”, organizzato sempre in collaborazione con il Consorzio del Vino Nobile. Alle ore 16:00, dalla Colonna del Marzocco, parte il Corteo Storico con gli sbandieratori e tamburini che raggiungerà Piazza Grande dove si svolgerà la consegna del premio Grifo Poliziano e la presentazione ufficiale del Panno 2025, accompagnata dalle esibizioni dei giovani alfieri e tamburini, oltre che del gruppo senior. Dalle ore 21:00 iniziano le prove degli spingitorilungo il percorso di gara. Anche in questa giornata, le Contrade saranno aperte.
Le prove degli spingitori continueranno poi nei giorni 25, 26, 27 e 29 agosto, sempre alle ore 21:00 nel centro storico e le contrade continueranno ad accogliere cittadini e visitatori. Giovedì 28 agosto torna uno degli appuntamenti più suggestivi: il Corteo dei Ceri. Alle ore 21:00, il corteo sfilerà tra le vie del centro storico, illuminate da torce e fiaccole, fino a giungere alle ore 22:00 in Piazza Grande, dove si svolgerà la cerimonia dell’Offerta dei Ceri in onore di San Giovanni Decollato, patrono di Montepulciano. Lo spettacolo, arricchito da musiche originali, vedrà coinvolti il Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini e i musicisti l’Istituto di Musica H. W. Henze sarà autoprodotto dal Magistrato delle Contrade (Il biglietto unico tribune e platea ha un costo di euro 15, gratuito per i bambini sotto i 6 anni. – Prevendite online a partire da giovedì 14 agosto alle ore 14:00 sul portale Billetto e sul sito ufficiale).
Sabato 30 agosto sarà una giornata di preparativi e festa all’interno delle Contrade, che resteranno aperte per tutta la giornata. Domenica 31 agosto si svolgerà la grande corsa del Bravìo: la lunghissima giornata si aprirà alle 9:30 in Piazza Grandecon l’estrazione dell’ordine di partenzadelle otto Contrade, seguita dalle esibizioni dei quartetti di sbandieratori e tamburini che sfideranno per aggiudicarsi il premio Memorial Trabalzinie dallamarchiatura delle botti. Alle 12:00, nella Chiesa del SS. Nome di Gesù, si terrà laSanta Messa solenne con la partecipazione delle autorità, delle contrade e l’offerta dei ceri al Santo Patrono. Alle 15:30, il Corteo Storico parte dalla Colonna del Marzocco e, finalmente, alle 19:00, avrà luogo la partenza della corsa del Bravìo delle Botti – Per l’ingresso al centro storico domenica 31 agosto dalle ore 14:30 alle ore 19:00, è previsto un biglietto d’ingresso di euro 3,50 (gratuito per bambini sotto i 6 anni). I biglietti saranno acquistabili online dal 18 agosto alle ore 14:00 su Billetto e sul sito ufficiale.
CONCORSO. Anche quest’anno torna il concorso fotografico “Attimi di Bravìo” edizione 2025 , dedicata alla memoria di Emo Barcucci, con importanti novità, non sarà un semplice concorso ma anche un corso di formazione. La partecipazione è aperta a tutti fotografi professionisti e amatoriali senza limiti di età. Non ci sono costi d’iscrizione e il corso è suddiviso in due momenti: il primo di formazione e il secondo di attività sul campo. Il Magistrato delle Contrade analizzerà le domande e definirà la lista dei partecipanti. La seconda novità è che l’attività di formazione prevede un workshop a cura di Senio Firmati, fotografo professionista di Siena. L’appuntamento è per il 22 agosto. Tutti i partecipanti dovranno inviare 5-10 foto che verranno valutate come foto singole e la persona che interpreterà al meglio il tema proposto durante la formazione riceverà un premio in denaro. La premiazione si svolgerà durante la chiusura dell’Anno Contradaiolo.
NOVITÁ. Un Bravìo 2025 già partito con qualche novità, dunque, e rappresentata quest’anno anche dalla locandina, diventata una sorta di “panno” dei Poliziani, dei contradaioli e di tutti coloro che vivono e custodiscono il Bravìo con passione discreta e tenace. Realizzata dall’artista Francesco Poroli, il Magistrato delle Contrade ha voluto dare voce a tutta la manifestazione a tutto ciò che spesso resta dietro le quinte, ma che sa di complessità e bellezza. La locandina 2025 è un omaggio corale a chi corre, a chi cucina, a chi veste, a chi suona e a chi organizza. A chi, con pazienza e fatica, costruisce ogni attimo della settimana degli eventi, una fotografia di una vittoria senza gara, che resiste nei gesti quotidiani e silenziosi di chi sa esserci da sempre.
