Per l’edizione di “A Ruota libera”, quest’anno sono attese circa 250 persone con almeno 20 equipaggi dotati di joelette e formati da persone interessate da disabilità e da accompagnatori e accompagnatrici per l’escursionismo adattato
Rieti e il Monte Terminillo ospitano la quinta edizione di “A Ruota Libera”. Il raduno di escursionismo adattato che nasce con l’idea di favorire e racontare l’inclusione sui sentieri. delle montagne italiane.
Le quattro Sezioni CAI di Rieti, Amatrice, Antrodoco e Leonessa si uniscono per organizzare, il 6 e 7 settembre 2025, un’esperienza in cui la scoperta delle bellezze delle aree interne si intreccia con la passione e la caparbietà degli escursionisti e delle escursioniste interessate da disabilità.
Se nelle scorse 4 edizioni, sono state coinvolte in totale circa 600 persone con una media di 15 equipaggi, quest’anno i numeri sono in crescita: sono attese circa 250 persone con almeno 20 equipaggi dotati di joelette e composti da persone interessate da disabilità e da accompagnatori e accompagnatrici per l’escursionismo adattato. Al momento, sono 26 le Sezioni del Club Alpino Italiano che hanno confermato la loro partecipazione.
Il programma
Si comincia sabato 6 settembre, con l’accoglienza delle delegazioni CAI di tutta Italia e con una visita inclusiva della Città di Rieti. Domenica 7 settembre invece, le centinaia di partecipanti si ritroveranno nella località di Pian de Valli, per l’escursione che da Sella del Vento arriverà a Monte Cardito, con un panorama privilegiato sulla conca Reatina e sul massiccio del Terminillo.
“Siamo orgogliosissimi di questo evento giunto alla sua 5^ edizione, è un’occasione splendida per fare rete tra le varie sezioni che partecipano a questa attività con lo scopo di diffonderla e renderla sempre più efficace e inclusiva. L’escursionismo adattato è sicuramente un fiore all’occhiello tra le attività proposte a livello nazionale dal Sodalizio”, ha dichiarato Ornella Giordana, presidente della Struttura Operativa di Accompagnamento Solidale del CAI.
