La manifestazione, a Palazzo Vitelli a Sant’Egidio, fra le più belle e suggestive dimore rinascimentali del centro-italia è andata in archivio con il logo prestigioso e patrocinio della Camera dei Deputati ed un “focus” ed una sezione dedicata alla Costituzione della Repubblica Italiana. Attraverso 40 espositori italiani e stranieri, distribuiti in 35 stands, che hanno portato in vendita i propri tesori, la mostra mercato del libro antico e della stampa antica, fra le prime del settore per importanza a livello nazionale, ha offerto uno sguardo su tutto ciò che è bello e raro nel campo bibliofilo e della stampa al pubblico di appassionati e collezionisti che hanno eletto Città di Castello come tappa immancabile della propria ricerca. “Quello di inizio settembre a Città di Castello è uno degli appuntamenti di settore più attesi in Italia che abbiamo avuto la fortuna di poter ospitare da 25 anni e sul quale come amministrazione comunale continuiamo a investire con orgoglio”, hanno dichiarato il sindaco Luca Secondi, l’assessore al Commercio e al Turismo Letizia Guerri e il presidente del consiglio comunale, Luciano Bacchetta, ricordando l’indimenticato dirigente del comune, Gualtiero Angelini (ideatore e promotore instancabile della mostra che) e ringraziando il presidente dell’associazione Palazzo Vitelli a Sant’Egidio Fabio Nisi e il curatore della mostra Giancarlo Mezzetti “per il presidio culturale e scientifico che da sempre assicurano e che è uno dei fattori di successo della manifestazione che si è guadagnata con onore il prestigioso patrocinio della Camera dei Deputati.” A margine della XXVesima il sindaco Luca Secondi a nome della giunta, alla presenza della vice-presidente della Camera dei Deputati, On. Anna Ascani ha consegnato a Nisi e Mezzetti una targa ufficiale quale segno di riconoscenza e gratitudine per il lavoro svolto da sempre con competenza, passione e senso di appartenenza ai simboli artistico-culturali della città”. “La presenza di 40 qualificati espositori dall’Italia e dall’estero ha offerto ai visitatori e ai cultori e appassionati di questo settore in continua crescita, una vetrina di notevole livello”, hanno precisato, Fabio Nisi e Giancarlo Mezzetti, Presidente della Associazione Palazzo Vitelli a Sant’Egidio e curatore della mostra.
