CIVITELLA IN VAL DI CHIANA – Venerdì 19 settembre 2025, nel suggestivo scenario di La Guardiola, in via Guardiola 11 a Civitella in Val di Chiana (AR), primo appuntamento di “Vini d’autore”. Dalle ore 18.30 alle ore 22 è prevista una degustazione di prodotti tipici locali accompagnati dai migliori vini dell’azienda agricola di proprietà della famiglia Dal Farra. La serata verrà inaugurata da un wine tour alla scoperta della cantina e di alcuni vigneti. A seguire prenderà il via la wine tasting curata da Cristiano Cini, presidente AIS Toscana e direttore di Wine Tv, e Simona Bizzarri, premiata in passato come miglior sommelier di Toscana e miglior sommelier sul vitigno Sangiovese d’Italia.

Presenta il giornalista culturale Marco Botti, che introdurrà i partecipanti alla storia della tenuta e al territorio ricco di storia che la circonda. “Vini d’autore” è il primo di due appuntamenti organizzati dall’azienda agricola che sorge nel comune di Civitella in Val di Chiana, a due chilometri dal centro storico del capoluogo comunale. La Guardiola è un piccolo gioiello incastonato tra boschi di conifere, con vedute panoramiche mozzafiato, che vanta una conduzione legata alla viticoltura di precisione, con una cantina che esalta i frutti dei sette ettari coltivati. La storia della tenuta ha inizio nel 2004, quando Orlando Dal Farra, imprenditore veneto, si innamora della Toscana e della bellezza dei colli civitellini. Nasce così l’idea di impiantare i vigneti e costruire l’azienda agricola, che dal 2013 si dota di una cantina, concentrato di modernità intimamente radicato nella tradizione. Il primo vigneto si caratterizza per le uve Merlot e Pinot Nero. La quota altimetrica di circa 500 metri sul livello del mare permette una significativa escursione termica, che nei vini favorisce l’espressione dei caratteri gustativi di pregio legati a finezza ed eleganza. Il secondo vigneto è quello più caratteristico, con vista panoramica su tutta la Val di Chiana e la piana d’Arezzo. Esso sorge a circa 600 metri sul livello del mare, condizione quasi unica per far esprimere vitigni nobili come Sangiovese e Pinot Nero. In località Dorna, a circa 350 metri sul livello del mare, si trova infine il vigneto che accoglie uve Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon e le varietà a bacca bianca. La quota altimetrica, pur essendo inferiore rispetto agli altri vigneti, permette una buona escursione termica donando ai vini una buona complessità aromatica. La Guardiola applica i più recenti criteri di agro-ecologia, valorizzando la biodiversità. La filosofia è ottenere vini che rispettino l’espressione qualitativa delle uve da cui provengono nel pieno rispetto dell’ambiente: per questo sono raccolte e vinificate in selezione. Dal 2015 l’azienda è in conversione al biologico.La scommessa più grande di Orlando e della figlia Moira è quella di far esprimere in quota e in condizioni quasi uniche vitigni difficili come il Sangiovese e il Pinot Nero, realizzando vini in purezza che sappiano sorprendere. Oltre a ciò, la tenuta vuole esplorare anche la ricchezza di vini nati dal complemento di vitigni diversi per cercare la massima qualità dal legame di tante uve pregiate.
