Oltre alla presenza di tre vincitori della cronoscalata (Franco Cinelli, David Baldi e Denny Zardo), la terza edizione de “Lo Spino – Leggende in Salita”, in programma sabato 27 e domenica 28 settembre, registrerà un’altra importante novità all’interno del suo programma.
Sabato 27, fatto inedito nella regione, si terrà la prima edizione del Disability Pride Toscana, un grande evento di inclusione, solidarietà e celebrazione delle diversità. Il Disability Pride, infatti, è un movimento culturale mondiale che propone alla società civile un modo nuovo di vivere, pensare e valorizzare la disabilità, per garantire e promuovere la piena realizzazione di tutti i diritti umani e delle libertà fondamentali per le persone con disabilità, come stabilito dalla Convenzione Onu sui diritti delle persone con disabilità. A Pieve Santo Stefano, in occasione della manifestazione dedicata alla rievocazione della cronoscalata dello Spino, apriranno la rassegna gli esponenti dell’Associazione Paratetraplegici Aretini (Apa), che percorreranno un pezzo di tracciato con le carrozzine e poi saliranno a bordo dei mezzi presenti per percorrerlo fino all’arrivo. “Ringraziamo gli organizzatori per l’invito – ha detto Miriam Pellegrini, pievana e presidente aretina dell’Apa – perché ci consente di celebrare nel modo migliore il Disability Pride Toscana a livello provinciale. Riteniamo che questa opportunità sia particolarmente rilevante per i seguenti motivi: si tratta di un gesto fortemente simbolico per l’inclusione sociale e l’integrazione delle persone con disabilità, dal momento che mette in relazione due mondi normalmente molto distanti tra loro; può essere da invito e monito a una guida sicura; non dimentichiamo che la maggior parte delle persone con lesione midollare è diventata para o tetraplegica in seguito ad un incidente stradale e perlopiù in età giovanissima; può contribuire a far conoscere il “motosport per tutti”, che rappresenta un bell’esempio di inclusione sociale, perché offre l’opportunità alle persone con disabilità motoria di diventare veri e propri piloti e di partecipare, senza nessuna penalità o restrizione, a manifestazioni automobilistiche insieme ai normodotati. Consente, inoltre, di trovare in pista situazioni e cose con le quali i piloti disabili possono misurare la loro relazione con gli altri, perché poi, in fondo, l’agonismo è uguale per tutti. Il primo apripista in questo senso è stato Clay Regazzoni (ex pilota Ferrari), tornato alla guida dopo un grave incidente, che diceva: “Si guida con la testa, non con mani e gambe”. Infine, può far conoscere anche l’Automobilismo Paralimpico, che è una disciplina praticabile all’interno dell’attività gestita dalla Fisaps, Federazione Italiana Sportiva Automobilismo Patenti Speciali, che è stata riconosciuta come tale dal Cip soltanto nel 2021 ed è presente in diverse competizioni sia nazionali che internazionali”.
