L’allenatore ospite dell’evento del Festival del Calcio Italiano in scena ad Arezzo La città di Arezzo si prepara a riabbracciare un uomo che ha prima vestito la maglia dell’Arezzo da calciatore, poi ci è tornato da allenatore: ospite dell’evento “I protagonisti del calcio si raccontano”, ideato dal giornalista e project manager Donato Alfani, per la 14ᵃ edizione del Festival del Calcio Italiano sarà Leonardo Semplici.
La voce di Leonardo Semplici sarà utile per conoscere la Toscana da chi l’ha vissuta a pieno per tutta la sua vita. Sia da allenatore, che da calciatore, Semplici ha vissuto poche esperienze lontano dalla sua regione natale, anche se ormai non ci torna dal lontano 2014, quando ha lasciato l’incarico nella Primavera della Fiorentina per sposare il progetto S.P.A.L. e proseguire con Spezia, Cagliari e Sampdoria. Ora è fermo, ma con tanta voglia di rimettersi in gioco su una panchina di alto livello. Tra i suoi successi da allenatore, ad esempio, si ricordano due campionati di Eccellenza toscana vinti consecutivamente, sulle panchine di Sangimignano e Figline. Con il Figline ha anche trionfato in Serie D e nell’allora Lega Pro di Seconda Divisione (Serie C2). Naturalmente, poi, ci si ricorda di lui per la vittoria del campionato di Serie B con la S.P.A.L. nella stagione 2016/17 che gli ha dato lustro anche in Serie A e gli ha permesso di restare in sella al club ferrarese, conducendolo a due salvezze consecutive nei due anni successivi.
L’appuntamento si preannuncia come un ricco pomeriggio di spunti ed emozioni con uno degli allenatori più in auge del palcoscenico italiano tra Serie A e Serie B degli ultimi anni.
