Nel fine settimana il borgo si anima tra arti, mestieri, scene di vita contadina, balli e sapori dei primi decenni del ’900 Il quarto fine settimana di settembre, a Lucignano, significa ‘Memorie del Passato’. Uno dei Borghi più belli d’Italia accoglie la 26ª edizione della manifestazione organizzata dalla Pro Loco con il patrocinio del Comune: un fine settimana che trasforma il centro storico in un teatro a cielo aperto, dove rivivono arti e mestieri, scene di vita quotidiana, atmosfere contadine e tradizioni dei primi cinquant’anni del Novecento.
Il programma si apre sabato 27 settembre. Dopo la cena alla Locanda in Piazza delle Logge e nei ristoranti che ripropongono ricette di un tempo, il Teatro Rosini ospita la compagnia Il Piccolo Resto con lo spettacolo ‘Porta aperta, casa chiusa’. La giornata clou è domenica 28 settembre: fin dal mattino si aprono le botteghe artigiane, le scene di vita contadina, le esposizioni di oggetti d’epoca, auto, moto e trattori Landini. Il borgo risuona delle note della Banda Rosini e dell’Organino di Barberia, le proposte enogastronomiche curate dalla Pro Loco e dai ristoranti. Il pomeriggio è animato da giochi in legno, dal concerto itinerante del coro L’Albero d’Oro, da cantori e stornellatori per le vie del centro, dai balli d’epoca del Gruppo Folkloristico di Lucignano e della scuola Dancin’Forever. La manifestazione si chiude con le cene alla Locanda e nei ristoranti del paese.Memorie del Passato non è solo rievocazione, ma anche un’occasione di comunità e di identità condivisa. Figuranti in costume d’epoca, artigiani, artisti di strada e associazioni locali contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera festosa e coinvolgente che ogni anno richiama visitatori da tutta la Toscana e non solo. Il presidente della Pro Loco, Mario Turchetti, sottolinea che «ogni edizione, realizzata in stretta collaborazione tra la Pro Loco e l’Amministrazione comunale di Lucignano, è una sfida e una gioia. Memorie del Passato è il modo con cui vogliamo mantenere vivo il legame con le nostre radici, condividendo le nostre tradizioni con il coinvolgimento delle nuove generazioni».
