Dopo Bibbiena e Sansepolcro, anche l’ospedale di Cortona si è integrato nel percorso flebologico che coinvolge il Dipartimento di Chirurgia Generale diretta dal dottor Andrea Coratti, l’UOC di Chirurgia del San Donato diretta dal dottor Marco De Prizio e l’UOC di Chirurgia vascolare del San Donato diretta dal dottor Giorgio Ventoruzzo.
Il primo anno di attività all’ospedale Santa Margherita di Fratta, a Cortona, all’interno del reparto di Chirurgia Generale diretto dal dottor Andrea Collini, segna infatti un traguardo importante: 50 pazienti trattati con metodica endovascolare mediante colla di cianoacrilato, con un successo clinico del 100%, in linea con i più recenti dati della letteratura internazionale.
