AREZZO – Domenica 26 ottobre 2025, alla Tenuta di Frassineto, prende il via la quinta edizione di “Gravel Bike Event”, evento dedicato agli appassionati di bici gravel, e-bike e mountain bike
Dopo il ritrovo nel piazzale dell’azienda agricola, lungo la strada vicinale del Duca 14, a Frassineto di Arezzo, gli itinerari in cui cambiano la lunghezza e la difficoltà si svilupperanno nei sentieri della Valdichiana in collaborazione con La Chianina Ciclostorica, La Chianina Unconventional Bike Adventure, Gravel Alò e Trek Bicycle Arezzo. Alle ore 9 partiranno tre percorsi. Quello Lungo di 100 chilometri con dislivello di 1.350 metri, quello Medio di 75 chilometri con dislivello di 1.000 metri e quello Corto di 50 chilometri con dislivello di 450 metri. Alle ore 10, invece, prenderà il via quello Super corto di 20 chilometri con dislivello di 100 metri. Tutti gli itinerari comprendono un 25% di vie asfaltate e un 75% di vie sterrate.Sarà anche quest’anno una domenica all’insegna della passione per la bici, il buon vino, le tradizioni e la storia della vallata. Una full immersion in uno dei paesaggi rurali più affascinanti e visitati d’Italia, plasmato nel corso dei secoli a quattro mani dalla natura e dall’uomo. Borghi, castelli, opere di ingegneria idraulica, natura e panorami mozzafiato accompagneranno i partecipanti lungo quattro nuovi itinerari. Durante i tragitti, che si svilupperanno nei comuni di Arezzo, Castiglion Fiorentino, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Marciano della Chiana e Monte San Savino, i partecipanti incontreranno i manufatti legati alla bonifica della valle, la Villa Fontarronco, che assieme alla Villa di Frassineto fece parte delle fattorie granducali, il Castello di Gargonza, che nel 1304 accolse l’esiliato Dante Alighieri, e il Castello di Montecchio Vesponi, che nell’ultima parte del Trecento appartenne al condottiero Giovanni Acuto. Sono previsti anche quattro punti di ristoro: il Castello di Gargonza, Piazza Fanfulla di Marciano della Chiana, il parcheggio belvedere del Castello di Montecchio Vesponi e la Tenuta di Frassineto, che ospiterà “Pasta & Wine Party”. I familiari e gli amici degli iscritti a “Gravel Bike Event” potranno attendere il loro rientro nei giardini della Villa di Frassineto e usufruire dei servizi offerti dal wine shop, con la possibilità di degustare e acquistare i vini ricavati da vitigni pregiati come Semillon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Traminer, Pinot Bianco, Vermentino, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc e Petit Verdot.
