Itinerari tra vocazione agricola e innovazione industriale XII Incontro- Vivere sotto gli archi, dagli sfollati a Pasolini Sabato 25 ottobre 2025, si conclude l’evento Roma oltre le mura: 1883-1960 ideato daArtSharing Roma e vincitore dell’AvvisoPubblico Artes et Iubilaeum – 2025.

Appuntamento alle 10.30 alla fermata “Villini” della ferrovia urbana Termini-Giardinetti per inoltrarsi su Via del Mandrione, passeggiando lungo le arcate degli acquedotti, fino a raggiungere Via Tuscolana a Porta Furba. Una strada che si è trasformata nei secoli, dalle magnificenze di Papa Sisto V ai tuguri narrati da Pier Paolo Pasolini, sempre mantenendo il suo fascino antico e la capacità di offrire un immaginario coinvolgente. Anche il Mandrione, dalla primaria vocazione agricola si è trasformata in zona industriale (famosi e ancora produttivi fino a 40 anni fa gli stabilimenti del Chinotto Neri o la fabbrica di zucchero Eridania) grazie anche alla vicinanza della ferrovia. La passeggiata, guidata dalla Dr.ssa Paola Francesca Polidori, illustrerà stratificazioni storiche e urbanistiche, racconterà dell’evoluzione sociale legata alla zona, un tempo detta “la vergogna di Roma” che, negli anni 70, fu territorio di sperimentazione di inclusione, recupero e, successivamente, anche di riqualificazioni parziali. Si parlerà anche delle fotografie scattate da Franco Pinna che in questi giorni sono visibili in una mostra dal titolo Franco Pinna e Pier Paolo Pasolini – Viaggio al termine del Mandrione, allestita alla Casa del Cinema e visitabile, gratuitamente, fino al 30 novembre.  Nel corso della passeggiata ci saranno quattro momenti di “drammatizzazione” con le letture curate dagli attori di Argillateatri e i racconti di esperienze reali e ancora vive come quella di Don Roberto Sardelli o dell’insegnante Lidia Zammataro. La partecipazione è gratuita, ma è necessaria la prenotazione obbligatoria, con un numero massimo di 40 posti disponibili.
