Nella mattinata di domenica 26 ottobre si svolgerà sul territorio comunale Prometheus 2025, la consueta esercitazione della Protezione civile comunale che coinvolgerà il sistema di protezione civile del Comune di Arezzo

in collaborazione con le associazioni di volontariato operanti nel settore: Croce Rossa Italiana, Arciconfraternita di Misericordia, La Racchetta, Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri, Sostenitori Operatori di Polizia. Si tratterà di una combinazione di atti simulati e attività reali, con uomini, mezzi e tecnologie solitamente impiegati in eventi calamitosi. L’obiettivo di Prometheus 2025 non è solo quello di testare l’efficienza del sistema comunale di protezione civile ma anche la verifica delle procedure inerenti l’allerta meteo, il pompaggio di acqua in ambiente interessato da un evento alluvionale, la vigilanza del reticolo idraulico minore, l’assistenza alla popolazione, il coordinamento e la cooperazione con le associazioni, la funzionalità delle sale operative.Al termine è prevista una riunione di debriefing per analizzare le attività svolte, individuare eventuali criticità e apportare misure migliorative alle procedure di emergenza. L’esercitazione non influirà sulla percorribilità delle strade e non interferirà con il regolare svolgimento di altre attività o manifestazioni programmate per lo stesso giorno.
