AREZZO – Il 13 novembre si celebra la “Giornata mondiale della Gentilezza” che rappresenta l’occasione per promuovere l’attenzione e il rispetto verso il prossimo, la cortesia dei piccoli gesti, la pazienza, la cura, l’ascolto dei bisogni propri e degli altri.
Per il quarto anno la Biblioteca Città di Arezzo, in collaborazione con la libreria La casa sull’albero, festeggia questa ricorrenza ospitando l’illustratrice Giulia Pastorino, una delle figure di punta del panorama italiano, molto conosciuta e apprezzata anche all’estero, le cui opere sono state più volte selezionate alla mostra degli illustratori della Bologna Children’s Book Fair, vincitrice del premio Andersen 2025 con le illustrazioni al libro di Sergio Olivotto “Se fossi Ugo”, Corraini Edizioni, nella categoria miglior libro 3-6 anni. Alle 10:30 per bambini e bambine dai 3 ai 5 anni ci sarà “Eroi bislacchi! Incontro per eroi fuori dal comune”: a partire dalla lettura di “Cane Zoppo”di Davide Calì, illustrato da Giulia Pastorino, Clichy edizioni, i bambini e le bambine, muniti di pastelli a cera, daranno vita a nuovi eroi fuori dal comune. Un laboratorio che rompe gli schemi dei tradizionali supereroi per celebrare l’unicità e la diversità immaginando nuove avventure con i loro protagonisti. Alle 16:30 alle per bambini e bambine dai 6 ai 10 anni arriva “Ghirigoro, scarabocchio e a zig zag”: il piccolo Ugo un giorno si sveglia Ghirigoro, un giorno Puntinato e un altro ancora Tratteggiato. Ogni cambiamento influenza il suo umore e il suo comportamento a scuola e con gli amici ma Ugo, seppur ogni mattina differente, è sempre se stesso. E noi? Dopo la lettura del libro “Se fossi Ugo”, i bambini e le bambine saranno chiamati a sperimentare il linguaggio del segno per raccontare ogni emozione e riflettendo sul concetto di “normalità”.
Sabato 15 novembre, Giulia Pastorino incontrerà i giovani lettori e gli adulti che li accompagneranno in due appuntamenti che prevedono la lettura di un libro e un laboratorio presso la sala conferenze dell’istituzione in via dei Pileati.
