Sabato prossimo, 22 novembre 2025, per la festa di Santa Cecilia, a Vecchiano, si riunisce la III Assemblea dei delegati di OraToscana, la rete dei civismi toscani appassionati di autonomie personali, sociali, territoriali.
OraToscana, nata nel 2021, è una rete confederale di gruppi civici toscani. E’ collegata con la rete italiana Autonomie e Ambiente (AeA) e con la rete europea delle autonomie European Free Alliance (EFA), i cui eurodeputati siedono sia nel gruppo parlamentare Greens-EFA che nel gruppo dei conservatori ECR. I civismi e le autonomie coltivano non solo la trasversalità politica, ma difendono l’indipendenza delle realtà locali dagli eccessi della polarizzazione destra-sinistra.
Promuovono il protagonismo dei cittadini, la democrazia diretta e il federalismo di stile svizzero. Privilegiano l’autonomia e la competenza delle persone elette, prima delle appartenenze.
L’assemblea di OraToscana rinnoverà gli organi del movimento.
Rilancerà i propri progetti per l’autonomia dei comuni – unici enti che possono assicurare servizi pubblici universali per l’autonomia e la dignità degli anziani, dei bambini, delle famiglie, oltre che proteggere i territori dal degrado ambientale e dalla desertificazione economica. Sono attesi dirigenti europei e italiani delle autonomie, esponenti civici toscani sia di centrodestra, che di centrosinistra, che indipendenti, oltre ad intellettuali e attivisti di diversa estrazione.
L’assemblea sarà aperta al pubblico dalle 17 alle 19.
