Sabato 22 novembre 2025, per la festa di Santa Cecilia, a Vecchiano, si è riunita la III Assemblea confederale dei delegati di OraToscana, la rete dei civismi toscani appassionati di autonomie personali, sociali, territoriali. I lavori si sono svolti nella sala parrocchiale di Nodica di Vecchiano. L’evento è stato totalmente autofinanziato dai delegati.
L’assemblea ha scelto di rafforzare il metodo confederale fra civismi locali, liste civiche comunali, gruppi e attivisti territoriali. I civismi raccolti in OraToscana difendono l’indipendenza delle realtà locali dagli eccessi e dalla sterilità della polarizzazione destra-sinistra. E’ stata eletta una Moderazione, un organo collegiale di collegamento, in cui lavoreranno insieme esponenti di sette diversi territori: Francesca Marrazza (presidente di RiBella Firenze, per la città di Firenze); Ione Orsini (Vecchiano, San Giuliano, Pisa); Alberto Andreoli (Pontedera e Valdera); Marco Cannito (storico leader di Città Diversa, per Livorno e provincia); Riccardo Galimberti (Grosseto e provincia); Andrea Ridi (Valdelsa fiorentina); Mauro Vaiani (Prato e provincia). Mauro Vaiani è stato anche confermato garante della rete e responsabile dei rapporti di OraToscana con le altre reti italiane ed europee. Le realtà locali confederate continueranno a dialogare con tutti i civismi della Toscana e oltre, per allargare la rete in tutta la Toscana; per contribuire a fermare l’erosione della democrazia e della partecipazione, attraverso la lotta alle leggi elettorali ingiuste; per la sanità pubblica e prossima; per riportare i bisogni delle comunità locali, degli anziani, delle piccole imprese, dei territori – specie quelli di montagna e più periferici – al centro della politica toscana e italiana. Franco Manes, deputato della Valle d’Aosta, che ha portato l’esperienza e la solidarietà della Union Valdôtaine, storico movimento autonomista, territorialista, anti-autoritario e anticentralista.
