A Palazzo Donini verrà esposto un presepe dall’associazione Amici del Presepio “Gualtiero Angelini” Perugia, 24 novembre 2025 – Dal 29 novembre 2025 al 6 gennaio 2026, presso la suggestiva Cripta della Basilica Cattedrale di Città di Castello, si terrà la XXIV edizione della Mostra internazionale di arte presepiale. L’evento, tra i più prestigiosi del panorama artistico nazionale e internazionale, ospiterà oltre 170 opere di 64 espositori, con opere provenienti da tutta Italia e dall’estero
La mostra, ideata ed organizzata dall’associazione Amici del Presepio “Gualtiero Angelini” di Città di Castello, con il sostegno del comune di Città di Castello, della Regione Umbria, dell’Assemblea Legislativa dell’Umbria, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Città di Castello e dalla Camera di Commercio di Perugia, è stata presentata presso il Salone d’Onore di Palazzo Donini, alla presenza della presidente della Regione Stefania Proietti e della consigliera regionale Letizia Michelini, dall’assessore di Città di Castello Riccardo Carletti, dal presidente dell’associazione cavalier Lucio Ciarabelli e dal suo vice Claudio Conti. “La mostra internazionale di arte presepiale di Città di Castello – ha dichiarato la presidente Proietti – è una delle manifestazioni che stanno dando lustro alla regione e richiamano i turisti durante un periodo, quello natalizio, che fino a qualche anno fa non era tradizionalmente uno dei più frequentati. Negli ultimi anni invece l’Umbria ha visto crescere le presenze turistiche anche sotto Natale e ci stiamo avviando, secondo le stime, ad un vero e proprio sold out. Voglio ringraziare dall’associazione Amici del Presepio “Gualtiero Angelini” per l’opera che sarà in esposizione qui a Palazzo Donini e vorrei anche poter fare prossimamente una mostra con i vostri bellissimi cataloghi, così come con quelli delle altre rassegne che danno lustro alla nostra regione nel corso di tutto l’anno”. “La mostra – ha spiegato l’assessore tifernate Riccardo Carletti – offrirà ai visitatori un viaggio unico attraverso capolavori ispirati alla Natività, realizzati da maestri artigiani delle migliori scuole italiane, tra cui Napoli, Catania, Toscana, Lazio e Umbria. Saranno presenti anche opere di artisti internazionali e collezioni private, tra cui la collezione Bonechi e una sezione dedicata ai pittori tifernati. Verrà inoltre esposto un bellissimo lavoro realizzato dal maestro Vincenzo Saccardo nella sua bottega di Avellino, dedicato alla figura delle “tabacchine”, le lavoratrici simbolo della filiera del tabacco con l’intenzione di mantenere vive le tradizioni popolari, contadine, ed industriali del territorio. La scorsa edizione ha registrato oltre 10.000 visitatori, di cui il 65% provenienti da fuori regione, confermando il successo e l’importanza della manifestazione, quest’anno speriamo di confermare queste presenze e di migliorarle”. Tra le novità annunciate per questa edizione vi saranno un grande presepe laziale di 5×4 metri, alto 2 metri, sul tema del Giubileo e degli 800 anni di San Francesco, e una rassegna di diorami veneti ispirati ai monumenti di Venezia. Inoltre, sarà esposta una raccolta di circa 30 statue di Gesù Bambino, realizzate da grandi artisti negli ultimi 300 anni, curata dall’Associazione Presepistica Irpina. Una sezione speciale sarà dedicata alla memoria di Gualtiero Angelini, ideatore della rassegna, nel decimo anniversario della sua scomparsa. La mostra sarà aperta dal giovedì alla domenica, festivi e prefestivi, dalle ore 9.00 alle 12.30 e dalle 15.00 alle 19.30.
