Centenaria al vertice di una famiglia da guinness dei primati. Ha spento 100 candeline sulla torta di compleanno, Nella Frontini, nata il 27 novembre 1925 in una frazione del comune di Arezzo, Santa Maria della Rassinata, da sempre punto di riferimento della comunità di Volteranno di Città di Castello dove risiede con la sua numerosa famiglia “extra large” composta da cinque figli, Liliano, Giselda, Adelia, Tiziana e Luciano, sei nipoti, Sonia, Maura, Eleonora, Claudio, Samantha e Michel, sette pronipoti, Elena, Andrea, Manuel, Nico, Gregorio, Anna e Azzurra e un trisnipote, Diego, ultimo arrivato. Oltre alla stretta parentela si aggiungono due generi, Paolo e Fausto e due nuore, Elia e Lorella, per un totale di 23 persone senza contare, mariti e mogli dei nipoti. Un primato familiare nel primato di longevità, quello di “nonna” Nella, che ha sempre diviso la sua lunga vita fra famiglia e lavoro. Mamma, nonna, bisnonna e trisnonna affettuosa ha sempre con orgoglio rivendicato le proprie origini ed il suo attaccamento alla comunità di Volterrano, alla sua gente e tradizioni, un vero e proprio esempio per tutti di laboriosità e bontà. Il sindaco, Luca Secondi gli ha consegnato oggi una targa per rendere ancora più ufficiale, affettuosa e carica di significati questa “ricorrenza di vita straordinaria, esempio in particolare per le giovani generazioni”. Nata da una famiglia modesta composta da 2 fratelli e 3 sorelle, Nella è rimasta orfana di padre a 14 anni ed ha iniziato a lavorare fin da bambina nei campi e ad accudire il bestiame. Nel1949 si è sposata con Domenico: sono nati 5 figli . “Abbiamo avuto dalla famiglia tante soddisfazioni e la salute che non ci ha mai abbandonato fino ad oggi. Nella mia vita ho sempre lavorato tanto – ha detto sorridente la neo centenaria – ho cucinato tantissimo per la famiglia con gli anni sempre più numerosa.” 18 anni fa è purtroppo rimasta vedova, ma l’affetto di figli e nipoti non sono mai mancati. Ha vissuto nel comune di Arezzo fino a 38 anni, e poi si è trasferita nel paese di Volterrano. Continua ancora oggi ad occuparsi dei suoi animali da cortile (polli, oche, conigli, ecc.). La giornata, la trascorre maggiormente in casa con il figlio primogenito e la nuora, oppure quando il meteo lo permette, nel paese a parlare o passeggiare con i vicini. Davvero un esempio di vita vissuta bene ed in armonia con tutti. “I nostri anziani – ha detto il sindaco tifernate – rappresentano una straordinaria risorsa umana ed un vanto per la comunità locale, punto di riferimento per tutti ed in particolare per le giovani generazioni. La bellissima storia di Nella, del traguardo di vita che ha raggiunto dei valori che ancora oggi trasmette alla sua numerosa famiglia e alla comunità in cui vive sono la testimonianza concreta da cui ogni giorno ripartire. Buon compleanno”. Attualmente a Città di Castello sono 19 gli ultracentenari: 17 femmine e 2 maschi.
