Alla formazione hanno assistito i studenti della scuola secondaria di primo grado dell’Istituto Comprensivo: Badia Tedalda – Sestino. Docenti per una mattinata, i Presidenti Fratres del Gruppo Provinciale: Pietro Ganganelli e locale: Danilo Serafini, dopo un saluto di presentazione, hanno parlato dell’importanza dei ragazzi, pur essendo ancora lontani dalla maggiore età, inizino a prendere coscienza di alcune problematiche che preoccupano la vita e che richiede impegno, solidarietà ed altruismo da parte di tutti. Molto preciso l’obiettivo: collaborare con l’Istituzione Scolastica alla sensibilizzazione delle giovani generazioni sugli importanti temi civili e morali della solidarietà e della donazione, favorendo così lo sviluppo di una loro futura convivenza. Le lezioni sono state condivise con strumenti audiovisivi, affrontati da argomenti di educazione sanitaria, parlato della composizione del sangue, delle funzioni: della storia della donazione nel corso dei secoli e come si è arrivati all’individuazione degli attuali gruppi sanguigni, fondamentali per una corretta terapia trasfusionale. Illustrati i requisiti e le modalità per intraprendere il cammino che porta alla prima donazione e descritto il viaggio di sangue e plasma appena donati, dai centri di raccolta ai tanti luoghi di utilizzazione: ospedali, distretti sanitari, industrie farmaceutiche. Tanta la curiosità e l’interesse suscitati nei giovani studenti da queste tematiche e per loro, al termine dell’incontro, la richiesta da parte dei due relatori di un preciso impegno: nell’attesa di compiere la maggiore età e poter diventare dei donatori e donatrici di sangue, con l’impegno di raccontare a genitori, parenti ed amici la loro esperienza di quello che hanno imparato. Una lezione di vita, alla quale i giovani studenti hanno partecipato con interesse ed impegno.
