E’ attivo da stamattina il nuovo bagno pubblico automatico e autopulente sotto il bastione del Cassero. Aumentano, quindi, i servizi igienici a disposizione di tifernati e turisti nel centro storico di Città di Castello, dopo quelli aperti nel loggiato Bufalini, e migliorano ulteriormente le dotazioni della nuova porta di accesso alla città monumentale che sta nascendo nell’area tra le mura urbiche e piazzale Ferri. In questa zona, nella quale l’amministrazione comunale sta investendo circa 2 milioni di euro in un restyling funzionale completo, alla variante stradale e alla pista ciclopedonale si aggiungeranno una piazza attrezzata con fontane e sedute, ma anche il raddoppio del parcheggio Collesi e l’ascensore che servirà i giardini del Cassero. “Un nuovo obiettivo raggiunto sul versante della riqualificazione del centro storico e della funzionalizzazione dell’area urbana del Cassero, che sarà uno snodo strategico per i tifernati ma anche per i turisti in arrivo in città”, commenta il sindaco Luca Secondi, sottolineando come “il nuovo servizio igienico sarà autopulente, e quindi in grado di offrire agli utenti un ambiente assolutamente decoroso, ma sarà soprattutto accessibile a tutti, comprese le persone con disabilità”. Realizzato con un investimento di 42.992,72 euro per la fornitura del prefabbricato e per l’inserimento paesaggistico rispettoso della collocazione a ridosso delle mura, costituito da un rivestimento in pietra su due lati, grigliati metallici sugli altri due, dove cresceranno piante rampicanti a bassa manutenzione, e da un pergolato anch’esso metallico, il bagno sarà utilizzabile dietro il pagamento di 50 centesimi come forma di deterrenza nei confronti dei vandalismi. Per il momento l’importo potrà essere versato solo con monete da 10,20 e 50 centesimi, ma a breve verrà attivato anche il pagamento con carta di credito. La porta scorrevole del bagno si apre automaticamente appena effettuato il pagamento ed è dotata all’interno di un pulsante per l’uscita. Accanto al sanitario posto a terra si trova un altro pulsante di emergenza che aziona la stessa porta in caso di malore. Il bagno si apre comunque, in ogni caso, dopo 15 minuti dall’ingresso e 5 minuti prima una spia inizia a lampeggiare per avvertire l’utente. Il sistema di pulizia si attiva dopo ogni utilizzo per igienizzare i sanitari (lavabo e wc) e lavare il pavimento, grazie a ugelli che spruzzano l’acqua a forte pressione in modo da rimuovere anche eventuali residui a terra. All’interno del bagno saranno forniti sapone per il lavaggio delle mani e carta igienica. All’esterno del prefabbricato, sopra la gettoniera, sono presenti due spie: una verde per informare che il servizio è attivo e una rossa per indicare che il servizio non è funzionante o che è in corso il processo di lavaggio (della durata di pochi secondi). La gestione e la manutenzione del servizio igienico del Cassero per il primo anno è compresa nel costo di acquisto: pertanto, il bagno verrà revisionato a garanzia del corretto funzionamento ogni mese e ogni settimana verranno eseguiti i rifornimenti di carta igienica e sapone, più lo svuotamento dei rifiuti. Il servizio di manutenzione interverrà entro 24 h in caso di segnalazione di malfunzionamento. Il progetto e la direzione tecnica dei lavori sono stati interamente curati dagli uffici tecnici del Comune, con il responsabile unico del procedimento Giuliano Ciocchetti e il direttore dell’esecuzione architetto Rosella Cenciarini, mentre l’Ufficio Gare ha assicurato i servizi amministrativi relativi all’intervento.
