“Come anticipato dopo le numerose criticità emerse sul Pronto Soccorso del San Donato, ho fatto seguire una formale richiesta alla Direzione generale della ASL per fissare a stretto giro un incontro che ci possa dare tutte le informazioni in merito ai rimedi strutturali, non più rinviabili, che sono stati predisposti e che dovranno essere resi operativi nel più breve tempo possibile. Un incontro che vede già una proposta di data – il 22 gennaio alle 10:30 – e che vorrei fosse online proprio per dare modo a tutti i sindaci, non solo a quelli della zona aretina, ai sindacati, al comitato di partecipazione e a chi ne farà richiesta – penso in particolare alle associazioni di volontariato e alle pubbliche assistenze – di potersi collegare ed essere quindi partecipi di questo importante scambio di idee. Ho anche deciso che questo momento, per l’importanza che ha, coinciderà con la VIII edizione degli Stati generali della sanità aretina. Gli Stati generali della sanità sono nati, molti anni fa, con lo scopo di rendere le politiche sanitarie patrimonio comune e di innescare meccanismi di partecipazione e di confronto tra tutte le istituzioni e i cittadini: credo quindi che il focus sul pronto soccorso abbia tutte le caratteristiche per animare questa edizione. Il mio obiettivo è quello di permettere alla ASL di poter condividere soluzioni e proposte in un’ottica di leale collaborazione e al tempo stesso di consentire a questa città di capire quali risposte sono in procinto di arrivare per mettere fine ad una situazione di incertezza che mortifica tutti: operatori sanitari, istituzioni e cittadini.
Appena avrò conferma dalla ASL della data sarà mia cura invitare l’assessore alla sanità della Regione Toscana così che possa, se vuole, trovare un luogo rappresentativo per rassicurare tutta la comunità aretina circa il fatto che anche da Firenze è chiaro che così non va e che molte cose devono essere cambiate. Come istituzione il primo passo che faremo sarà quello di offrire l’occasione per un confronto costruttivo, tuttavia se le risposte non saranno come ci aspettiamo e soprattutto non ci sarà da parte della politica regionale una presa d’atto concreta, a questo punto non posso escludere anche azioni di protesta, pacata ma fermissima e pubblica”.
