OPERATIVA LA DESTINATION MANAGEMENT COMPANY DELLA VALLE DEL SAVIO

con un certo entusiasmo che da oggi inizia una nuova fase della strategia turistica dell’intera Valle del Savio con l’avvio della gestione dei servizi di informazione e promo commercializzazione da parte della nuova Destination Management Company (DMC), rappresentata dal raggruppamento di imprese composto daGiratlantide, Atlantide, Archeo Sistemi e Coop Culture, a cui l’Unione dei Comuni della Valle del Savio ha affidato l’incarico a seguito di procedura competitiva

Si tratta di un progetto che ha un valore strategico per tutti i Comuni e per tutto il tessuto socio-economico della valle del Savio. Una strategia che ha coinvolto tutte le Amministrazione dei 6 Comuni della Valle del Savio, con lequali si è condiviso a livello politico l’obiettivo di promuovere il commercio ed il turismo di tutto il territoriounitariamente considerato, superando visioni circoscritte ai confini comunali, al fine di creare un vero e proprio brand di vallata. Due sono i settori in cui si svilupperanno le prime attività della DMC. In primo luogo, la creazione di una reteturistica aperta a tutti gli interlocutori della valle, per dar vita ad un tavolo permanente di marketing didestinazione che sappia coinvolgere attori pubblici e privati nelle attività di sviluppo. In secondo luogo, la creazione di una vera filiera turistica della Valle del Savio articolata e innovativa, in grado di valorizzare queiprodotti autentici e esclusivi che ne rappresentano l’identità, individuando i canali di commercializzazione più efficaci per “tradurre in prodotti i desideri del mercato”. L’intera attività sarà sostenuta da azioni di “tourism intelligence”, cioè di monitoraggio e analisi dei datiquantitativi e qualitativi che sono alla base della “brand reputation”, per poterla affermare e far crescere presso diversi pubblici di riferimento. Inoltre è previsto un potenziamento dei servizi di informazione e accoglienza turistica, puntando sulla formazione del personale e la creazione di infopoint diffusi sul territorio. Nell’immediato, la DMC ha provveduto ad individuare il personale necessario per garantire la continuità nell’apertura degli IAT di vallata (a Bagno di Romagna, Cesena, Sarsina e Verghereto) e sta organizzando le attività di gestione della promozione on.line e della partecipazione alle fiere di settore. Con l’avvio della DMC si chiude una prima fase progettuale che ha visto coinvolgere tutto lo staff dell’Unione Valle del Savio ed i Sindaci e le Amministrazioni di tutti i Comuni, che ringrazio per aver condiviso questo importante obiettivo e per aver creduto nelle potenzialità che può avere per le nostre Comunità. L’avvio della gestione in capo alla DMC, a cui auguro di svolgere un lavoro proficuo, rappresenta oggi l’apertura di una nuova fase, che richiederà la partecipazione pro-attiva anche di tutti gli operatori privati, con i quali dovremo costruire la nostra destinazione turistica. E’ un progetto molto complesso e ambizioso, che ha l’obiettivo di tradursi in un aumento degli indici di misurazione dei flussi turistici e quindi anche economici. D’altra parte, si tratta di un progetto esclusivo a livello politico ed istituzionale del nostro territorio, in quanto l’Unione si pone come ente precursore delle politicheturistiche in piena coerenza con gli obiettivi posti dalla Regione Emilia-Romagna e della nostra Destinazione Turistica Romagna.
