BIBBIENA – – Lo scorso sabato, alla presenza dell’Assessore alle Attività produttive Daniele Bronchi, al figlio Luca e ad alcuni commercianti, il Sindaco Filippo Vagnoli ha consegnato una targa a Alberto Maggi, il novantenne titolare della tipica “pizzicheria” che esiste da 100 anni nel centro storico di Bibbiena.
Vagnoli commenta: “Un’emozione poter consegnare questa targa ad Alberto che per tutti i bibbienesi ormai è un simbolo, un vero personaggio. Il suo negozio polifunzionale, unico rimasto, è un esempio di forza delle realtà che animano i piccoli centri e che sanno offrire cose introvabili e un clima unico. Entrare in questa “pizzicheria” è come fare un lunghissimo viaggio nel passato, ma è anche protendersi con orgoglio e fiducia verso il futuro del nostro commercio al dettaglio che come amministrazione stiamo cercando di sostenere con tante iniziative. Il negozio di Alberto compie 100 anni, un compleanno di tutta la nostra bella comunità”. Alberto ha 90 anni di felicità, di amore per la propria professione, di voglia di esserci, di capacità di relazionarsi con il prossimo. L’attività di cui lui è titolare gli è stata lasciata in dote dal padre e qui si è svolta tutta la sua vita tra casa e bottega. Per molti anni questo luogo era anche una locanda, dove i giovedì di mercato di facevano i pranzi con il baccalà, la trippa ed i piatti tipici della nostra tradizione, e sempre qui c’era una mescita oltre che prodotti alimentari e tutto quello che poteva servire alle famiglie. Oggi di tutto questo è rimasto un luogo unico nel suo genere che, ogni anno, attira turisti e curiosi proprio per il suo fascino di antico negozio con le bottiglie, la pasta, il vino, il profumo di formaggio stagionato che si mischia in modo perfetto e quasi poetico a quello dei prosciutti appesi che poi vengono tagliati a mano. Qui i ragazzi vengono ancora a farsi fare un panino e a scambiare due parole con Alberto che di racconti divertenti è il maestro. Ancora oggi, dopo tanti anni, Alberto scende di casa alle 6 del mattino ed è il primo ad aprire il suo negozio nel centro storico, un camice bianco come si usava un tempo, lo sguardo verso le lastre e il sorriso accogliente. Il negozio Maggi oggi è una specie di museo per il suo fascino antico e la bellezza di ciò che sembra essersi cristallizzato eppure vive. Dopo il video girato qui dentro dall’ormai famoso youtuber bibbienese Zeb89, Alberto è diventato popolare per i suoi panini e per questo luogo quasi iconico. Con la targa il Sindaco e la Giunta hanno voluto ringraziare Alberto per la sua passione e per avere saputo mantenere nel tempo questo presidio di socialità e vita attiva nel centro storico.
