La prepotenza del ricordo

ROMA – ARTISTA: Eleonora Albanese – Dal 18 febbraio al 10 marzo 2023 la galleria Art GAP, a due passi da Largo di Torre Argentina, è lieta di accogliere la personale “La prepotenza del ricordo” di Eleonora Albanese, a cura di Annalisa Di Domenico. La mostra verrà inaugurata sabato 18 febbraio 2023 alle ore 18:00.

Nei lavori di Eleonora Albanese esposti nella mostra “La prepotenza del ricordo”, il pesce rappresenta un pensiero fisso, un mal d’amore che viene elaborato nella mente invece che nella pancia. Esso non vuole andare via e diventa un’angoscia palese oppure latente e anche se, a volte, sembra scomparire, d’improvviso può ripresentarsi e dominare, di nuovo, la mente dell’artista. Il pesce ci riporta a un’ossessione dalla quale è difficile liberarsi, esso è quasi sempre nella testa delle donne presenti nei quadri di questa mostra e anche se tali figure provano ad allontanarlo dalla loro mente – infatti in alcune opere vediamo il pesce collocato in altre posizioni – questo tenta comunque di risalire verso il capo. Eleonora ha imparato a lasciar andare tale inquietudine attraverso il contatto con il mare, che per lei è stato curativo. In un’azione catartica, l’artista ha “liberato” il pesce nel mare, affrancandosi da quel dolore che quell’amore reciso le aveva provocato. Il pesce deve tornare nel mare, quel mare che riallinea le prospettive e cura le menti prigioniere dei loro “incantesimi”, quel mare che ridefinisce i confini e separa ciò che è da ciò che sembra, che spinge le donne e gli uomini al viaggio e alla conoscenza, che consola e mitiga i loro umori. Solo allora saremo guariti.
