Commemorate stanotte 30 anni dopo, con una cerimonia alle 1.04, ora esatta dell’esplosione, le vittime della strage mafiosa dei Georgofili a Firenze del 27 maggio 1993. Fabrizio Nencioni, la moglie Angela Fiume, le bimbe loro figlie Caterina e Nadia, lo studente Dario Capolicchio, tutti rimasti uccisi nello scoppio dell’autobomba di Cosa Nostra, sono state ricordate dalle autorità e da centinaia di persone con la deposizione di una corona nel punto dell’esplosione.
Il suono della Martinella, la campana civica fiorentina, e l’esecuzione del Silenzio hanno accompagnato la cerimonia cui hanno assistito fra le autorità politiche il sindaco Dario Nardella, il presidente della Regione Eugenio Giani, il sottosegretario alla Giustizia Andrea Delmastro. Dopo un lungo momento di raccoglimento, c’è stato un lungo applauso. Presenti familiari e parenti delle vittime, esponenti delle istituzioni e della magistratura, e moltissimi cittadini che hanno seguito il corteo aperto dal Gonfalone della città. Il corteo da piazza della Signoria si è mosso per raggiungere via dei Georgofili, quindi, celebrato l’anniversario dei 30 anni della strage, ha proseguito per il piazzale degli Uffizi dove c’è stato un altro omaggio, quello alla Quarto Savona Quindici, l’auto di scorta al giudice Falcone nella strage di Capaci e che viene esposta a Firenze in questi giorni. “Trent’anni – ha detto il sindaco Nardella prima del corteo – segnano un anniversario a cifra tonda che è importante perché ci spinge a ripercorrere tutto quello che Firenze ha saputo fare da allora come città e anche coi processi che hanno permesso di individuare i responsabili. Ma anche ci spinge a capire cosa ha significato lo scontro della mafia contro o Stato, le istituzioni, e a parlarne alle future generazioni. La mafia c’è ancora, oggi si annida e attecchisce dove c’è economia sana. La battaglia non è finita e va portata avanti proprio per le nuove generazioni”.
