FOIANO DELLA CHIANA – Sottosegretario La Pietra su rete irrigua Montedoglio Distretto n.23 Valdichiana Distretto irriguo di Foiano della Chiana: – “Il decreto ministeriale con cui sono stati stanziati 7 milioni di euro per la realizzazione del primo lotto del distretto irriguo 23, nel territorio di Foiano della Chiana, costituisce un momento chiave per un territorio che da tempo attendeva di poter attingere all’invaso di Montedoglio”.
Con queste parole il Sen. Patrizio La Pietra, Sottosegretario di Stato al Ministero dell’agricoltura, della sovranità alimentare e delle foreste, esprime la soddisfazione per lo sblocco dei fondi in favore di un’opera così importante. “Si tratta – prosegue – di un’infrastruttura idrica che offre una risposta vera e concreta alle esigenze di cittadini e imprese e per la quale abbiamo voluto agire con tempestività. Un risultato importante, quindi, frutto anche del canale di confronto e collaborazione aperto con diversi attori istituzionali, gli organismi e il tessuto socioeconomico del territorio”. “Il governo – aggiunge la Sen. Simona Petrucci – ha sempre riservato grande attenzione a questo territorio. Ne è prova la testimonianza di impegno costante dimostrata dal sottosegretario La Pietra, che si è fatto interprete delle istanze risultate da numerosi incontri e sollecitazioni di cittadini, associazioni e realtà produttive. Un percorso di collaborazione destinato a durare nel tempo e ad arricchirsi di nuove e importanti realizzazioni anche grazie al lavoro del gruppo dirigente di Fratelli d’Italia sul territorio, che non ha mai smesso di alimentare questo legame, per noi essenziale, con la gente”. “I fondi garantiti dal Governo Meloni attraverso il Ministero dell’Agricoltura, che vede come Sottosegretario il senatore di Fratelli d’Italia Patrizio La Pietra, è un evento storico” – dichiarano il consigliere regionale Gabriele Veneri e il responsabile di Fdi Valdichiana Nicola Carini.
“Da troppi anni – continuano gli esponenti di Fdi – i nostri agricoltori attendevano riposte concrete dalla politica regionale guidata dal PD, che non ha mai messo tra le proprie priorità il completamento della rete idrica che parte da Montedoglio, lasciando molte aziende in gravi difficoltà, acuite poi dal repentino cambiamento climatico che non garantisce più riserve di acqua certe presso i nostri fiumi. Siamo soddisfatti per il risultato raggiunto e – concludono Veneri e Carini – per aver risposto alle istanze del nostro territorio grazie all’impegno di tutti gli attori istituzionali e associativi coinvolti, ma soprattutto, ci preme ricordarlo, dalla capacità di fare rete che Fratelli d’Italia ha saputo mettere in campo attraverso i suoi rappresentanti locali, regionali e nazionali, fino ad arrivare al Ministero competente.”
