Si è spento a 85 anni. Karl-Heinz Schnellinger, il grande giocatore della Roma, Milan e della Nazionale tedesca degli anni ’60 e ’70, si è spento all’età di 85 anni all’ospedale San Raffaele di Milano. Pensi a Schnellinger e ti viene in mente sicuramente il grande Milan di fine anni ’60, ma più ancora una partita indimenticabile di quelle che hanno fatto la storia del calcio: Italia-Germania (allora Ovest) 4-3, semifinale dei Mondiali di Messico ’70. Era malato da tempo, e la sua scomparsa lascia un vuoto nel mondo del calcio, dove è ricordato come uno dei difensori più forti della sua generazione. Se quella partita divenne indimenticabile soprattutto per i suoi tempi supplementari, lo dobbiamo anche noi italiani proprio a Schnellinger, che segnò la rete dell’1-1 al 90esimo. L’unica rete della sua storia con la maglia della Germania Ovest in 47 presenze

After I originally left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is a way you are able to remove me from that service? Appreciate it!
