M«La prima cosa che mi sento di consigliare è un abbigliamento adeguato ad affrontare temporali improvvisi e cali di temperatura – prosegue Luca Pancioni – scarpe adatte al trekking, come scarponi da montagna o scarpe specifiche. In montagna è frequente assistere a temporali improvvisi e cali di temperatura, pertanto bisogna essere preparati. Altro consiglio è di pianificare il percorso prima di partire scegliendo quello più adeguato alla propria esperienza e alle proprie capacità fisiche, facendosi accompagnare da qualcuno che conosce la zona e portare con se una carta dettagliata dei sentieri». «Inoltre sarebbe utile scaricare la App del 112 – continua il dr. Pancioni – attraverso la quale chiamare i soccorsi in caso di necessità. La App, infatti, ci permette di localizzare il luogo dal quale arriva la richiesta di soccorso inviando mezzi e personale nel punto indicato. La App è un supporto per i soccorritori che si completa con le informazioni telefoniche che vengono date agli operatori, una app che sarebbe utile avere sempre sul proprio telefono e non solo nelle escursioni».«Quando si chiamano i soccorsi è utile fornire informazioni sul percorso/sentiero che si sta seguendo, la durata di percorrenza prevista e l’orario in cui si è partiti. Questo ci serve per indirizzare i soccorsi – aggiunge Pancioni – Inoltre è bene avere sempre una scorta di acqua, qualcosa da mangiare e qualcosa con cui coprirsi, una batteria di scorta per il telefono e una torcia».Ma quali sono le regole da seguire in caso di temporale improvviso? «Mai stare in piedi in un prato per evitare di essere colpiti da un fulmine – continua il Disaster Manager –. Meglio ripararsi in un anfratto, in zone protette da rocce senza sostare all’ingresso per evitare di creare un arco elettrico, concavità del terreno e sedersi sullo zaino che funge da isolante. Se non è possibile meglio sdraiarsi a terra: durante un temporale, infatti, la persona deve evitare di essere il punto più alto. Se si è in gruppo meglio distanziarsi pur rimanendo a portata di vista» «Importante è conoscere i propri limiti prima di cimentarsi in percorsi montani – conclude Pancioni – ma, soprattutto, se abbiamo un problema chiamare subito e non spostarsi a meno che la Sala Operativa dia indicazioni diverse: la app ci permette di localizzare subito la persona che chiede soccorso».
