Dalle ore 23.45 di martedì 31 dicembre piazza Matteotti accoglierà la festa più attesa dell’anno, con la musica dell’orchestra l’Alternativa che accompagnerà nel 2025 i tifernati e i turisti in città.
Sulle note dei brani più amati da ballare e da cantare insieme ci si potrà divertire sotto il palco fino alle 3.00 del mattino, con la colonna sonora irresistibile dei musicisti capitanati da Doriano Cangi che trascineranno grandi e piccini in una spensierata e allegra nottata. “Città di Castello vivrà ancora una volta la festa che fa incontrare e divertire tutta la comunità nel segno dei migliori auspici per l’anno nuovo, il momento di condivisione a cui tutti noi siamo legati e che è divenuto una delle tradizioni più belle e amate dai tifernati, dove esserci è veramente importante”, sottolinea l’amministrazione comunale, che organizzerà l’evento anche quest’anno in collaborazione con il Consorzio Pro Centro e l’associazionismo cittadino nell’ambito del cartellone di “Natale in città”. La sera di San Silvestro si rinnoverà un appuntamento che nel 1999 vide Città di Castello tra i primi Comuni a inaugurare un modo nuovo, allegro e coinvolgente, di festeggiare il Capodanno, portando nel cuore della città la festa per antonomasia che riunisce tutti per un brindisi e un sincero augurio. Passare dal cenone alla piazza, per incontrare parenti e amici, è divenuto un rituale irrinunciabile, come ha dimostrato anche l’anno scorso la piazza tornata di nuovo piena e gioiosa dopo la desertificazione della pandemia. A far parte a pieno titolo della tradizione della città è anche l’orchestra L’Alternativa, protagonista di tantissime serate indimenticabili nel centro storico di Città di Castello per il conto alla rovescia più emozionante e tornata sul palco di piazza Matteotti proprio nel 2023, dopo un’assenza di quasi dieci anni. “Ci saranno gli ingredienti giusti per stare insieme e fare festa, in un appuntamento con quell’identità tifernate profonda e sentita, che fa stare bene e fa comunità, al quale aspettiamo davvero tutti”, conclude l’amministrazione comunale.
