PULCIANO-AREZZO – Il podismo , nel 2024 verrà ricordato per il grande spettacolo che la Unione Polisportiva Policiano è riuscita a realizzare in occasione delle 3 competizioni più importanti che ha organizzato come la Scalata al Castello di fine Maggio e i 2 appuntamenti ravvicinati di Ottobre , il Campionato Italiano Assoluto di corsa su strada km 10 (per la 1^ volta ad Arezzo) e la Maratonina città di Arezzo.
IL 2024 è stato anche l’anno in cui gli atleti della Polisportiva Policiano hanno portato alto il nome di Arezzo in alcune delle Maratone più importanti del mondo come Chicago, Berlino, Roma, Milano. E’ stato anche l’anno della società al femminile con gli ottimi risultati ottenuti da Giulia Sadocchi che oltre a vincere il Grand Prix , ha ottenuto primati nei 10.000 e nella Mezzamaratona, a seguire Valentina Mattesini che non ha bissato i successi del 2023 perché alcuni infortuni ne hanno ridotto il rendimento, Noemi Trippi giovane atleta in forte crescita , migliorando nettamente i risultati tecnici , Esterlina Rodriguez specialista di Triathlon avendo preso parte ai campionati del mondo di Ironmen con buoni risultati.In campo maschile l’atleta che ha maggiormente ottenuto i risultati migliori è stato Michele Pastorini con 1.09.21 nella mezza maratona di Pisa mentre nel campionato regionale della km 10 su strada a sesto fiorentino ha ottenuto 31’54” e nella maratona di Milano ha ottenuto il tempo di 2.32.57, è stato vincitore di numerose gare su strada.
Buoni risultati sono venuti da Andrea Serluca che ha vinto il Grand Prix , da Stefano Bettarelli (2° al Grand Prix) e protagonista alla maratona di Chicago insieme a Tommaso Lisi. Bene anche il giovane Gianluca Notturni , Emanuele Graziani , Lorenzo Mori e Alessandro Tartaglini che hanno dovuto con vari infortuni che non hanno permesso di allenarsi adeguatamente. Il 2025 ricomincia con il Capodanno di Corsa 1^ prova del 33° Grand Prix alla quale la U.P.Policiano parteciperà con oltre 30 atleti che cercheranno di posizionarsi nei primi posti della classifica. Obiettivo del 2025 è quello di potersi collocare ai primi posti nazionali dei campionati di società di Corsa su strada . Dal punto di vista organizzativo è ancora da confermare la 52^ Scalata al Castello verso la fine di agosto e la Maratonina città di Arezzo a fine ottobre.In questa stagione si dovrà rinnovare il consiglio direttivo della società dopo la scomparsa di Ubaldo Salvi e di altri componenti con forze nuove.

Il 2025 ricomincia con il Capodanno di Corsa a San Giovanni Valdarno che ha visto al via oltre 200 atleti provenienti da varie parti del centro Italia.
La vittoria è andata all’atleta della Toscana Atletica Jolly Abderrazzak Gasmi con l’ottimo tempo di 40’52” nei 13,400 km di percorso.
Atleta proveniente dal Marocco , già tesserato da giovane all’Atletica Futura di Reggello , poi passato alla Toscana atletica Jolly, una grande promessa per il mezzofondo azzurro, parteciperà Domenica prossima al Cross Internazionale del Campaccio in cui è riuscito a vincere come Junior.
Alle sue spalla staccati di quasi 3’ la coppia del Parco Alpi Apuane Jilali Jamali e Oscar Samuele Cassi, bene gli aretini Gianluca Notturni e Marco Menonna della U.P.Policiano rispettivamente 8° e 9°.
Nella gara femminile netta la vittoria di Silvia Tamburi dell’Atletica Avis di Perugia con 47’46” sulla coppia aretina della Polisportiva Policiano Noemi Trippi e Giulia Sadocchi staccate di circa 3’.
Ottima come al solito l’organizzazione dei Veterani dello sport di San Giovanni V.No che ancora una volta sono riusciti a mettere in piedi una ottima manifestazione con il patrocinio del Comune di San Giovanni V.no
