CAPRESE MICHELANGELO – Dal francobollo commemorativo agli investimenti per il Museo Casa Natale: il tributo del Comune di Caprese al maestro del Rinascimento è iniziato Il borgo di Caprese Michelangelo ha celebrato ieri, 6 marzo, l’inizio di un anno intero di eventi dedicati al 550esimo anniversario della nascita di Michelangelo Buonarroti.

La cerimonia inaugurale della ricca rassegna si è svolta al Museo Casa Natale, accompagnata da una straordinaria cornice di pubblico e con la partecipazione di numerose istituzioni. Tra le autorità presenti, il presidente della Regione Toscana Eugenio Giani, il presidente della Provincia di Arezzo Alessandro Polcri, il vescovo Andrea Migliavacca, la presidente dell’Unione dei Comuni della Valtiberina Marida Broglialdi, il Prefetto di Arezzo Clemente Di Nuzzo, il colonnello dell’arma dei Carabinieri Claudio Rubertà, e molti altri tra sindaci, amministratori e personalità pubbliche del territorio. Una cerimonia tra memoria e riconoscimenti Nel corso della giornata, il Comune ha presentato un francobollo celebrativo dedicato ai 550 anni di Michelangelo, emesso da Poste Italiane, con l’annullo filatelico speciale. Contestualmente, è stata inaugurata una mostra curata dal professor Fabrizio Fabrini, che raccoglie francobolli da tutto il mondo dedicati all’artista. Un momento significativo della cerimonia è stato anche il riconoscimento ufficiale ai sindaci di Caprese dal dopoguerra a oggi, alla presenza degli ex primi cittadini e dei loro diretti discendenti. Un gesto simbolico per sottolineare il contributo che ogni amministrazione ha dato alla valorizzazione del territorio e del suo patrimonio storico. A fare da filo conduttore delle celebrazioni sarà il concetto di Topofilia, ovvero il legame tra una persona e il suo luogo natale. Nella sua relazione, la dottoressa Roberta Rio, studiosa del tema e autrice del libro Effetto Topofilia, ha sottolineato come Caprese Michelangelo abbia influito sulla formazione del genio rinascimentale, tanto da poter dire: “Caprese sta a Michelangelo come Michelangelo sta a Caprese”. La professoressa terrà una lectio magistralis dedicata sabato 8 marzo alle ore 15. Un anno di eventi per celebrare Michelangelo La sindaca Marida Brogialdi ha illustrato le iniziative che caratterizzeranno le celebrazioni nei prossimi mesi, con un obiettivo ambizioso: allestire una mostra con le lettere originali di Michelangelo, grazie alla collaborazione con Casa Buonarroti di Firenze. Inoltre, il Comune punta a portare a Caprese una riproduzione in bronzo della Madonna della Scala. Un impegno concreto per il futuro del borgo Oltre a celebrare la figura del maestro del Rinascimento, l’appuntamento è stato l’occasione per annunciare importanti interventi per migliorare l’accessibilità al Museo Casa Natale. Il presidente Giani ha infatti confermato lo stanziamento di quasi un milione di euro per la realizzazione di due ascensori, che consentiranno a tutti, compresi i visitatori con disabilità, di raggiungere agevolmente il sito. Un primo ascensore collegherà il centro del paese con il Castello, mentre un secondo verrà installato all’interno del complesso museale, rendendo accesibile anche il Palazzo Clusini Michelangelo. Sarà inoltre costruita una seconda via di accesso per giungere agevolmente alla Corte Alta, uno degli spazi più antichi del complesso. Le prossime iniziative Domani, 8 marzo, si terrà un altro momento significativo delle celebrazioni, con la Santa Messa nella chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, in ricordo del battesimo di Michelangelo.
