SANSEPOLCRO – Due appuntamenti speciali a Sansepolcro per celebrare arte, storia e memoria Il Comune di Sansepolcro, in collaborazione con Il Poliedro, la Fondazione Piero della Francesca e il Museo Civico, aderisce alla Giornata Internazionale dei Musei con due iniziative culturali di grande rilievo che si svolgeranno sabato 18 maggio 2025, offrendo a cittadini e visitatori l’occasione di riscoprire il patrimonio artistico e storico della città.
Alle ore 18.00 all’interno della sala convegni della Casa Piero della Francesca la studiosa Lina Guadagni Trzuskolas presenterà l’incontro dal titolo “Salva per miracolo. Le vicende storiche della Madonna del Parto nel Museo Civico di Sansepolcro dal 1919 al 1922”. Un approfondimento storico che ripercorre il delicato passaggio dell’opera simbolo del territorio in un periodo di grande trasformazione.
Alle ore 21.00 il Museo Civico di Sansepolcro apre le sue porte in orario notturno. In serata infatti, il pubblico potrà partecipare a una visita straordinaria in notturna del Museo Civico Piero della Francesca, alla scoperta dei capolavori della collezione permanente in una cornice suggestiva e inconsueta. La visita è inclusa nel biglietto d’ingresso. Le iniziative si inseriscono nell’ambito della Giornata Internazionale promossa da ICOM – International Council of Museums, con l’intento di valorizzare i musei come luoghi di cultura, inclusione e consapevolezza storica.
