partecipazione all’AFA Day di Poppi: oltre 300 cittadini già coinvolti nei programmi di Attività Fisica Adattata in tutto il territorio Prevenzione, prossimità e partecipazione: sono questi i pilastri su cui riparte l’Attività Fisica Adattata in Casentino, celebrata ieri al Centro Sociale “Il Kontagio” di Poppi con un’AFA Day molto partecipato.
L’iniziativa, promossa dalla Zona Distretto del Casentino e da Auser Casentinese e Montemignaio, ha visto una sala gremita per inaugurare il nuovo anno dei corsi AFA 2025-2026, già frequentati da oltre 300 persone nei principali Comuni del territorio.
A portare il loro contributo sul valore della prevenzione e dei sani stili di vita sono stati Marzia Sandroni, Direttrice della Zona Distretto, Giuliano Acciai, il Presidente di Auser, Massimo Nucci, responsabile AFA, la dietista Sabrina Belardinelli, che già opera nelle Case di Comunità e al Distretto, il sindaco di Poppi Federico Lorenzoni, il medico di famiglia Marcello Grifagli e la dottoressa Antonella Lorenzoni del Dipartimento delle Professioni Tecnico Sanitarie, Riabilitazione e Prevenzione guidato dalla dottoressa Daniela Cardelli.
“L’AFA è un’opportunità di salute per i cittadini, ma è anche un modo per creare relazione e comunità — sottolinea la dottoressa Marzia Sandroni —. La grande partecipazione registrata in Casentino, la sala ben allestita, la merenda preparata con cura confermano quanto sia importante lavorare sulla socializzazione, sulla prevenzione primaria, rendendo l’attività fisica accessibile e continuativa per le persone che convivono con dolore cronico e condizioni che ne limitano la mobilità”.
L’AFA Day a Poppi è stata l’occasione per valorizzare la collaborazione di rete che rende possibile l’offerta dei corsi in quasi tutti i Comuni del Casentino, grazie all’impegno di Auser e dei Provider coinvolti: ASD Stilnovo, Piscina comunale di Bibbiena, Palestra Wellness, ASD Casentino Attivo, Centro Polifunzionale di San Piero in Frassino. Nel suo intervento, Alfio Savini per Auser provinciale ha ringraziato tutti i partecipanti, ricordando come il successo dei corsi AFA sia un esempio tangibile del valore di un Servizio sanitario pubblico e universale.
