BRESCIA – 1000 Miglia lancia la 1000 Miglia Experience Italy, un evento nuovo che dal 10 al 13 Aprile porterà la Freccia Rossa oltre i classici tracciati della Corsa più bella del mondo. DAL SUCCESSO DELLE TRE EDIZIONI DI SORRENTO ROADS NASCE IL NUOVO EVENTO ITALIANO DELLA FRECCIA ROSSA: 600 CHILOMETRI DI GARA ALLA SCOPERTA DI CAMPANIA, BASILICATA E PUGLIA
L’idea nasce dal successo della Sorrento Roads, che per tre edizioni ha offerto un’esperienza di guida all’insegna dell’Italian Style fra panorami ineguagliabili, location glamour e attività alla scoperta delle eccellenze del territorio. Se però con il format Sorrento Roads il fulcro dell’evento verteva sulla Penisola Sorrentina e sulla Costiera Amalfitana, con qualche incursione nei dintorni, l’itinerario di Experience Italy attraverserà da Ovest a Est il Sud Italia, collegando i due mari, dalla sponda tirrenica a quella adriatica, toccando alcune fra le località emblematiche di Campania, Basilicata e Puglia. Giovedì 10 Arile l’evento avrà un preludio nel cuore di Sorrento: terminate le verifiche tecniche e sportive, gli equipaggi gareggeranno lungo la caratteristica passeggiata di Corso Italia, sfidandosi in un’entusiasmante competizione a eliminazione diretta valida per la quarta edizione del Trofeo Città di Sorrento, reso unico dalla partecipazione sempre calorosa della cittadinanza sorrentina e dei turisti. Il giorno successivo sarà la volta della prima tappa di gara che, da Sorrento, porterà gli equipaggi fra gli scorci unici della Costiera Amalfitana, a Salerno, Scorzo e Caggiano, incantevole borgo incastonato su un rilievo appenninico che ospiterà il primo pranzo in gara. Nel pomeriggio l’ingresso in Basilicata: passando per Potenza e scendendo verso sud a ridosso del confine con la Puglia, la giornata si chiuderà a Matera. Qui i partecipanti saranno protagonisti di un tour esclusivo alla scoperta delle meraviglie della città e avranno la possibilità di pernottare tra i caratteristici sassi, patrimonio mondiale dell’umanità. Sabato 12 sarà la volta della Puglia: dopo il passaggio fra i trulli di Alberobello, il convoglio pranzerà ad Andria. Nel pomeriggio si andrà a Castel del Monte, altro sito nella lista UNESCO, ed i concorrenti avranno l’opportunità di visitare questo capolavoro dell’architettura medievale. Toccata anche Molfetta, si taglierà il traguardo finale a Bari. Le iscrizioni chiuderanno alle ore 16 di martedì 18 Marzo 2025. Saranno ammesse al massimo 40 vetture fra storiche e moderne e l’avvenuta accettazione verrà comunicata entro il 21 Marzo.
